On Location Tours

The tour was excellent, although a lot more in depth than I'd thought it would be - I suppose I should have guessed this given its 4 hours! It covered a lot of information about how the episodes are actually made, information about the actors, and some of the locations didn't feature often in the programme. However, it was fascinating. I particularly enjoyed the cannoli and visiting the Bada Bing (for those in doubt, its not even a topless place, so not as sleazy as you might think). Shame that the house was too far away for the tour to visit comfortably from New York, though maybe people should have been told up front. The quiz kept things going as the tour went along. But, thoroughly recommended.

We enjoyed it very much. Both seeing the Tv sites and some different areas of Ny then we would usually see.

this was amazing, better than a normal manhattan tour, and a great idea for anyone who is a TV or movie fan. Some great locations in NYC and its cool to finally find them! In addition, the guides always know more than they can tell you about during the 2 hours, so if you have any questions, they usually know the answer! Definately worth the $30!

I would recommend it to any of my friends. I did enjoy it a lot. There were a lot of "older" sites on the tour, such as Ghostbusters, Woody Allen films that could be updated for more recent films. But, the tour guide was very friendly and informative.

I extremely enjoyed this tour. Everything from the time you get on the tour bus until the time you get off it is an enjoyable time. I especially liked the idea of showing the clips from the movies and getting off the bus at certain locations. The tour guide was very energetic, kind, gernerous and very informative. She entertained the group in-between locations. She made you feel comfortable and answered any questions that people had. I strongly recommend this activity to anyone who has an interest in movies and tv shows.

Interesting sites and it was fun to see different areas of the city. The guide was not very strong or extremely informative. She did not interact much with the group or allow us to get to know one another. It would have been helpful to add in other information about the city as we progressed. Visiting Steve and Aiden's bar was fun. The handout with the locations and addresses is a good idea, but the font is very hard to read. I would not recommend this tour.

If you love Sex and the City, you will love this tour. Despite the cold, windy weather, we got to spend time like our favorite characters - shopping, drinking, gossiping, and frank conversation. (I would not recommend this tour as a family activity.) I liked seeing the video clips to remind us how New York really is the fifth woman in the series. ps - the cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery really are FABulous!

The Sex and the City tour is a must for all fans. We thought it was great and really showcased alot of places that were involved in the show. Had a blast and would highly recommend it to all interested.

This is a good way to tour Manhattan with a theme in mind. Being a fan of the Sex and the City show is a must. Our guide was very funny and informative. We got booted out of the Little Church (on Sunday morning, which shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone) and stopped a few too many times to shop. The Magnolia Bakery was a highlight and the stop at O'Neal's aka Scout Bar for cosmos was also memorable. Showing clips from the series on th video monitors installed on the bus while viewing the actual locations where the shots were taken definitely brings the entire concept together.

I loved every minute of it! As sex and the city fanatics, my friend and I were overwhelmed with excitement. The tour guide was phenomenal, and the combination of videos, stops, and treats were incredible. Thank you so much!! I HIGHLY recommend this to any Sex and the City lover!!

Lots of fun start to finish, guide was great.

We all had a great time. The tour guide was hillarious and offered alot of great details. This tour is also a good way to get a quick overview of the city. I enjoyed every minute of it and would do it again.

Tour guide -can't remember name--blonde with raspy voice--was excellent. She was accommodating and very funny! I would highly recommend the tour to anyone going to New York. It's a great way to see the City from a New Yorker's point of view.

This is a great tour not only for seeing where some of the scenes from Sex and The City where shot, but also for seeing Manhattan in general! It was great to see so much at one time: areas of the Meat Packing District, Greenwich Village, SoHo, etc. I liked that we were able to get out of the bus and stop/shop at a few places, too. Worth the time and money! P.S. I LOVED the cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery - Brought some back home to San Francisco!

We enjoyed it. A few more stops where you get out would have been good. Also, more inside information other than what is contained in the book would have made it better.
