On Location Tours

I had so much fun on my Gossip Girl Sites tour! I was a little worried when I signed up because I was traveling alone and would not know anyone on the tour. However because we all had a common love of Gossip Girl I quickly made some friends and ended up having a really great time! My tour guide Lindsey was fantastic! she was so much fun and made everything interesting. She showed us countless sites from GG, it was so great to see in person all the locations I had seen in all 4 seasons of the show! I absolutely loved the tour & highly recommend it to anyone interested!

The tour was great and it was fun seeing all the sites of my favorite tv show, however many of the sites I expected to see due to what is on your website, we weren't taken to. I understand that the tour has to change all the time, however about 4 locations listed, including VICTROLA (the box) which I wanted to see the most, we weren't taken to. Regardless, I loved the tour and our guide was great :)

We had a good time, the girl was very informed on what we were seeing, but I was pretty upset that the two places we were to stop on the trip for food were Both Closed, Soup Natzi & Ben's Pizza, the people doing the reservations should of informed me that these places would not be open, I would of chosen another day. So do your home work, call the places yourself to find out hours of operation, If you do this tour. Reservations should of done this, because I had ask. If I had known I would not of booked this day.

Lou was great!

It was a good tour and gave a lot of insight. Jessica was great and very knowledgable. It would have taken a lot of research to do the tour by yourself and then you would also have the issue of transport as well so it was good value. The tour would have been prefect for me if they took you to the seinfeld restaurant and serendipity. They say that they don't have time cause it is quite a few blocks up but we did our tour on New Years day and finished early as there wasn't much traffic and tour finished in under 3 hours. It also says that you can get lunch from Ben's Pizza but it was closed on New Years Day and nothing else was offered in the way of a place to buy lunch so i was starving the entire time. Also in the information that you get when you book the tour it says that the tour ends at 58th and 5th Ave when it actually
 ends at 55th and 8th ave. I then had to walk a lot of blocks as that was where my husband was meeting me. So yes it was good but my experience wasn't what I expected it to be with the few disappointments that I had.

I am not personally a fan of the show, but went on the tour as a surprise for my girlfriend. It is great for fans of the show, but is also good for people that simply want to see the city, such as myself. Lou was our tour guide and she did a fantastic job. We had some questions about the city for following the tour and she was very knowledgeable and helpful in that area. I would recommend the tour and Lou as a guide.

My husband and I loved the tour, seeing all the Locations. Lou the guide was excellent.

It was fun and a great date.

This is a great way to see the city and the Gossip girl sites of NYC. Our guide was great and didn't just know Gossip girl and NYC but lived and breathed it. Great tour. Highly recommended.

our tour guide was lindsey and she was awesome, totally clued up with the facts and a real pleasure to have as a tour guide. i would probably do the tour again if i came back to new york :)

Great Tour & Good Points of interest..tour guide could have Been more efficient with showing clips of the show. We have been on the SATC tour before & it was much better however the content of this tour was fantastic!

The tour guide had many technical difficulties with the DVD player on the bus. We left late on the tour due to over bookings. Therefoe, we often caught up with other tours and places were very crowded. Many spots listed on the brochure were not visited. The staff could not even give accurate details on where to go to see these places on our own. Tour guide ran out of brochures, had to have them mailed to our home address, offering us no alternative while we were actually there. Many duplicate movie sites were visted, many listed where not even mentioned. Restaurant stop was hurried and we were forced to eat on the bus because we were running late from the begining. Most certainly NOT WORTH the MONEY! Very disapointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're a Sex in the City fan, then this tour is for you. Lou our tour guide was fantastic, what she doesn't know about the show isn't worth knowing, and backed by scenes from the show really helped bring the locations you visit to life through VT. If you can get Lou then I would strongly recommend it. What was also good was the food, drink all of which are linked to the show, whether this be Cosmopolitans at Neil's or those adorable cup cakes from Magnolias Bakery. A question you may be asking yourself is would your partner like it?" I think the answer would be yes, as my husband although not a great follower of the show enjoyed the tour and Lou's witty and enthusiastic commentary. So in summary yes a great tour and one worth doing if you have a morning or afternoon in New York and wish to be shown some of the sites of New York, you may otherwise not experience or in some cases not even know they are there.

The tour guides are actors, many trying to break into the Broadway theatre. As such, they are very knowledgeable and passionate about the quality of the tour they provide. Our guide Bianca did a wonderful job. She spoke with us at the lunch stop for a few minutes about her career hopes and we wish her much success. I knew New York was a popular place, but I never gave much thought as to how many venues throughout the city have been shot in TV and film. I recommend this tour, as you are able to get out of the bus at selected stops and walk around, take pictures, or have your picture taken by your tour guide. We enjoyed ourselves very much.
