On Location Tours

The tour was so much fun, when I go home I watched te movie again!!!

What a fabulous way to spend a rainy day in New York City. I shared the SATC experience with my three sisters , my oldest daughter and her best friend. I purchased the tickets as Christmas Gifts. Lou, our guide was awesome and most entertaining. The three and a half hour tour was chock full of great information and stopovers at popular SATC hot spots. As the tour ended, the sun came out so it was a perfect finale to the day. Would highly recommend the tour. I think it would be great to have contests on board the bus to get everyone involved in the Q & A segments. Loved Magnolia Bakery and the Cosmo break at the bar that was supposedly Scout.

Probably need to be a serious sopranos junky to love this tour. And trust me, I did really love the show - but the tour was still....meh... It wasn't that the tour guide wasn't knowledgable and fun, it's just one of these things that's MAYBE would have been cool 5 years ago. Other than that, you're driving around New Jersey, and for anyone who knows Nj knows there's nothing amazing to see. Especially when you're looking at bridges and waste lands where bodies were dumped. Funny thing too. You meet Vito before the tour. He's selling all sorts of signed sopranos memorabilia. I was looking at the stuff and thinking what the hell am I going to do with this signed sopranos poster when I politely said no thank you and asked him to take a picture with us instead. He replies "it's cold out here, how about a little something for the effort, I am not doing this for free", when I replied "$100 for two tickets isn't free" and he then turned his head and ignored us. Seriously what a pr!ck. Overall, don't waste your money on this tour unless you are a seriously diehard fan that's still living like its 2007 or are watching the shows now and are obsessed and don't mind some sopranos trivia and landfills.

We had a great time-my husband was sceptical but really enjoyed it too! Lindsey our tour guide was fabulous-great knowledge and really fun! We highly recommend this tour!

Sex and the city tour was great! You can see so many places from the show and the movie that I can´t even remember everything :D Guide was hilarious! Only minus was that we dídn´t see Carries house, or even the front steps :(

Lindsay did a great job. My two teenage daughters loved the tour. I have never seen the show but it was still an enjoyable tour of Manhattan. A comfortable and enjoyable way to see the city.

17 years ago I (Dad) was watching Friends with daughter Cherry (big fan - of Friends). I said we ought to go to New York Christmas shopping. Each year a box set was bought for Christmas and this became a tradition. Years went by. Strangely, Cherry never forgot! This year Dad got his act together and we sailed over in style on Queen Mary 2. Cherry found On Location Tours and we knew we were in for a treat. Our host Gary was very clear and we knew if we were late back on the coach at any drop off, he would sing to us - so we knew the rules!! We were always on time!!! We never thought we would see the fountain that was the inspiration for the opening theme each week. The coach rocked to us all singing the theme from Friends. Then our brilliant shopping expedition to New York was made complete by visiting the location for the Friends flat. Fantastic! To see this (and all the other great film scenes) on top of a fabulous cruise to New York, seeing the Knicks win at MSG in the last minute, our first bagels at Carnegie's, Top of the Rock, Empire State Building (but where were the airplanes and King Kong?)... the list went on. Gary was a terrific host - if you want to know about films in New York, he's the man. We didn't win any lollipops because you American film fans are too quick for us! Thanks to On Location Tours for helping us get to see so much of your great city and in such an entertaining way. When do you open in London? Was going to say cheers, but that's for your Boston tour! Great tour for all ages. If you know your tv shows and movies, this is a trip you'll die for. Even if you don't, the sights are memorable. The guide was very well-informed about all the movies and tv shows and provided background information of each site, making even the novice want to see the movie. The night we got home, we watched one of the movies whose location we visited. Having the DVD played on the bus was great. If there's one thing we'd be asked that could be improved, if there were a way to better sync the movie scenes in real time to the actual location visited, and play a longer scene, that would be super!

Tour was fantastic. Bus was very comfortable. Garry our tour guide was awesome. So knowledgable and enteraining. Great tour and money well spent

Lou was one of the best tour guides I have ever seen. The tour was fantastic but without her it would not have been as fun!!! Great tour highly recommned.
