On Location Tours

The positives have been stated over and over in these reviews. I'll just suggest a way to make a good tour even better. The tour had three get-off-the-bus stops. The stops spent over thirty minutes dallying -- thirty minutes that could have been used in the following way to improve the tour. We saw clips from five really interesting outdoor locales and these locales were pointed out as we passed them: 1) the park where Carrie confronted her nemesis from SNL while Stanford had a pretzel with the super model 2) the park where Carrie met Stanford after a difficult moment with Big 3) the park where Miranda met Steve's girl friend for the first time and tripped over the stroller 4) the outdoor café where Carrie and Miranda, while walking down the street, met their ex's Aiden and Steve 5) the park where Charlotte's Elizabeth Taylor, while in heat, was the object of affection of every male dog in the park. What great opportunities to briefly stop the bus! Those who wanted to take a quick picture could do so; those who just wanted to briefly stand on the same spot could do so; [others who wanted to use the rest room on the bus without missing any of the tour could do so]. So much more interesting, so much more enjoyable than just seeing the locales briefly out the bus window!

Chanelo! My tourguide was Emily and she was wonderful. She had a great sense of humor and definilty knew her SATC trivia! She was very helpful with questions and any concerns I had. I would definlty recommend this tour to my friends. I really believe that I got the best tour guide, though! Thanks again!!

It is a definite must do! I was with my mum, sister and friend on a week stay in New York, so we had plenty of time to do the tour! we werent sure what to expect but what we got was amazin. The tour guide was brilliant and very enthusiastic! The tour lasts for 3 and a half hours and i have to say the time flew by. You have a chance to stop and have food on the tour, which is at a plac which is in a movie, which is very excitin!Some of the films mentioned we didnt no but they show clips of the movies in which the place i used which we found very helpful and you do get off the bus at least 5 times allowing you to get up close to the movie "sets". it is a definite must do on your trip to New York!

We really enjoyed the tour. My only complaint is that when a site was being explained a lot of the time we had passed by the location and had not seen it.

The tour was really great. The sites were interesting and explained well. Gary, our tour guide, had a superfulous amount of information on each site when asked. We truly loved this tour and would recommend it to the movie and tv lover.

the cup cakes and cosmopolitians were the best, as were all the video clips on the bus a great way to see the city

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was about what we expected from reading the advertisement. It was fun meeting Joe Gannascoli. He was friendly and willing to put up with every request for pictures and autographs. The highlights of the tour for us were traveling the road Tony does in the opening, Pizzaland, Satriale's, the Bada Bing and the wonderful cannoli! Sam and Linda Talluto

I did this tour on my birthday and enjoyed it very much. I loved seeing all the sights from the film and drinking the cosmos! The drinks have to be paid for at the bar as are not in with the cost of the ticket. The guide was also very funny and gave us lots of interesting facts about the series and film. You get off the coach a few times so bring lots of money as there is a chance to do some shopping! This tour is also a good way to see the different areas of New York that you might not get to see yourself.

My Mum (The non sexpert),my sister & I ( The Sexperts) spent the last hours of our weekend shopping trip on this tour.... We really wish we had done it at the begining. This was certainly not our first trip to NYC but we saw so much more of this fantastic City in three hours than we had on all our previous trips. We are now armed with more hot shopping & nightlife tips for the next trip. This is a really great tour, you dont have to be a fan of the show to enjoy it, but for fans everywhere this is essential. An absolute must do!!!

Great to see so many places that feature on the show. Excellent tour guide. Sopranos clips shown on tvs on the coach that related to the sites visited. Trivia quizzes and prizes en-route. Very enjoyable morning. Met actor who played 'Vito' before the trip but I have to say that he was fairly unpleasant and dis-interested, even when you were spending money on the over-priced souvenirs he was peddling from the back of his Mercedes SUV. It was clear that this was no meet and greet session - merely a money spinning scheme for the actor. Bit of a fall from grace really. Maybe he was in character?? In all though, my wife and I really really enjoyed the trip and would thoroughly recommend it to any Sopranos fan!!

The trip was awsome. There were hard core sex and the city fans on the bus.The tour guide was great, she made everyone feel that everyone was on the tour together. I dont remember her name,but here motorcycle boots and dress made everyone feel she was a cast memeber..

Tour guide Gary was very good and clearly enthusiastic. Our party had 2 children aged 16 and 18 years who complained that most of the sites were for their parents age and not theirs, they would have liked more locations for more recent programmes/movies. They also felt the same movies were mentioned over and over, i.e. Spiderman, Ghostbusters. I felt it was more for my age than theirs, I also felt the quiz could have been more fun although this may have been due to the fact that the passengers on our bus were quite subdued. I think the price was very reasonable with some great stop offs, such as the fire house from Ghostbusters but I would agree with the teenagers and add some more recent movie/tv locations.

Informative tour, with clips shown in relation to sites visited (great for me as I dont watch the show!). Plenty of opportunity for photos, very interactive on bus with wonderful tour guide Kate. Thanks!

Big SATC fan so was great seeing the different places from the programme and movies. Was also interesting to find out various facts about the show. Definitely recommend it!!
