On Location Tours

This tour rocks and Staci j is the bomb! Would totally do it again and send all my friends your way. Loved every minute of it. The clips while we were riding is a great idea.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable & knew a LOT about what films & TV shows had been shot in NYC. We understood that the tour was geared for the audience attending, but there was a lot of info given about shows & movies that we didn't care about, such as Gossip Girls & Enchanted. We really enjoyed some of the highlights, such as lunch at Ben's, the black & white cookie treat & the Ghostbusters firehouse.

It's always cool to see places you've only seen on TV in real life, and this tour was a great way to get that feeling. It was also a really good way to get an overview of large parts of Manhattan in a way that took you away from the more famous 'generic' sites like the Empire State Building - the tour took you into parts of town you wouldn't see otherwise. In fact, it was like being taken round on a night out by the girls from SATC themselves, pointing out where they like to shop, go for drinks and meet friends. I don't think you need to be an avid follower of the show to enjoy the tour (I'm not and I really enjoyed it), it's a light-hearted alternative tour of New York and good value for money.

Great afternoon out for all SATC fans. Really good fun and exciting to see many of the landmarks featured in your favourite TV show! Our tour guide was very well informed and great fun!

I don't normally enjoy tours, but this was a lot of fun.

My mother and I (both Sex and the City fans) went on this tour together, and it was a great time for us. We saw a lot of the city (Midtown, West Village, Meatpacking District, SoHo) during the tour which we would not have seen otherwise! I also enjoyed how they played clips that corresponded with the sites that we saw on the tour - helped to jog my memory! It is definitely worth your time and the ticket price!

Our guide Roseanne was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic she really helped make the tour memorable. We were a little unsure about three hours on a coach but with her details and knowledge the time just flew past. It was our first time in New York so we had a lot of trips to choose from and this one I would recommend you do not miss. Not only did Roseanne tell us where the films were shot on location but she had a DVD to show the clips from the films and then there we were right in that location. The lunch break at the pizza shop from Men in Black was a great addition too and other stops to get off and stretch your legs for a while, included the house from I am Legend with the arch outside and the Ghostbusters fire station. Far too many buildings, locations and places to mention here but all I can say say is do it, you won't be disappointed.

We spent too much time watching clips and driving by sites does not help us experience the location.

- The tour is very rushed but that is normal since there are a lot of things to see and do! - Even though you are taken to various shops/bars, you do not feel obliged to make purchases. - Amy was a great host who got the balance of information and entertainment just right. - As a single traveller, she made sure that I was involved at every point and I did not feel out of place for being an individual.

I had a great time on the SAC tour. I was by myself, but it didn't matter. Lou (our tour guide) made it comfortable for all. Another guest ended up being alone, so I sat by her. I would have been just fine sitting by myself. Lou was very knowledgable and gave many "inside" details about the show that I hadn't heard before. The cupcakes were tasty and instead of a cosmo we got a coffee (it was cold outside) but the experience was still AWESOME!

I would recommend this tour, its a great tour of manhattan on a nice tour bus. its fantastic if you like the satc show, clips are shown on the bus and our tour guide Lou was really good fun.

My husband and I chose this tour following a recommendation from a friend and weren't disappointed. Our tour guide Gary was great, entertaining all the passengers on the tour bus with his endless knowledge on all things film and TV reated in New York. We chose a day when it was a little wet and cold so a 3 hour bus journey with entertainment, information and heat was a choice well made on our part. Highly recommend this tour.

The bus was late -- bad start. It was all uphill from there. Gary the tour guide was funny and entertaining and absolutely amazing at revealing all of the fun tidbits of movie trivia. He engaged the tour members and encouraged participation w/o pressure. If you're a cinephile, this is a must-do when you visit NYC!

The tour was not only excellent for getting a good look at behind the scene of SATC but also great for restaurant, shopping and general cool area recommendations - if you think this is for you I highly recommend you do it at the beginning of your NY trip. My sister and I did the tour on Monday and then went back to some of the filming locations for meals and shopping! Mostly the bus drives you past different places where scenes were shot and they also screen the scenes on the bus before/after you pass by. A few different cool stops take place along the way. Our tour guide Lou was fantastic, she also told us about other great activities available in the city. It is always helpful to hear about things from a fun new yorker. Whether you will spend your entire NY trip quoting lines from the show (like us) or simply tuned in to a couple of episodes, this 3 hour tour is a wonderful way to spend your morning.

Very interesting and had a lot of fun facts. Tour guide Roseann kept us entertained throughout. Ben's pizza was really good, but the staff could've pepped up a bit. Would recommend to friends/family
