On Location Tours

The bus was quite comfortable. If the weather had been better, I would have enjoyed walking more around the different areas. All in all it was an ok tour. I enjoyed the background information. Overall, good for the low price. Hey you get a free cupcake out of it.

We had a nice time, and it was great seeing all the locations. The cupcakes were fab! The guide was very bubbly and friendly, but we did sometimes miss seeing some of the locations, because we were told they were coming up, but they were not specifically pointed out. In the dark, and not knowing the city, it was not always made clear exactly which building was, for example, Aidan's bar/shop. It was also a big shame that Hotel Venus was closed and we couldn't have a look inside. I know our guide was unaware of this until we arrived outside it, but we weren't offered any form of refund or substitute, and we didn't get a chance to go back at a later date. It would be great if maybe an episode of SATC could be shown to any people left on the coach who did not want to try a Cosmopolitan or go into the Pleasure Chest... some people looked as though they did not want to come inside or try a cocktail, and they may have preferred sitting on the coach, watching the video. Thank you!

It was an ok toor. An interesting 3 hours. Could have done with maybe a few more locations and stops. A little overpriced.

It was fun to learn more about the show and it was a nice city tour. The tour guide was hilarious but all and all, the tour was kind of low energy and really long. It would have be more fun if the tour guide had been in character and dressed really hip like the girls do on the show. I do reccommend this tour to the ultimate fan but those going just as a novelty, be warned, it's a 3 hour tour!

Very interesting. Our Guide was very knowledgeable. A good way to see the sights of NY as well as the movie and TV locations.

We had a great time getting to see parts of the city that we wouldn't have if not for the tour. It was fun to actually see where the stars and shows are located. A pleasant way to spend 3 hours! Our tour guide was excellent!

The idea of this was great, and the tour guide very helpful. However, more info about movies (as opposed to TV and celebrity homes) was required. The guide talked a great deal about Friends and Will and Grace - fine - but movie lovers were a bit short changed! Also, a shorter tour with more stops would be better - we whizzed past locations! Overall, I enjoyed the tour because the guide was very personable, but I think that the tour should be more diverse.

We felt overal the experiance was a good one, just to see New York through the eyes of the 4 women and get an idea of how there lifestyle's were lived. From T.V to reality is a must !

The "Sex and the City" tour was an amazing experience. I have told all my friends about it and they are jealous of me that I got the chance to see all of the different places from "Sex and the City." Even if you are not a fan of the show and are perhaps just a boyfriend being dragged by their girlfriend to this, the tour is a great way to see all of Manhattan. I wish we could have stopped at more places, but I thought it was fun that we got to go see Carrie's apartment steps and go to Magnolia Bakery and the cupcakes were a great touch! This tour is worth the money!

I thought it started fun although it became pretty much the same after about 1 1/2 hours so we left early (after Sushi Samba). Was disappointed that we were left to get own drinks in Sushi Samba and that the place where Charlotte bought her rabbit was closed when we got there so we weren't able to go in. Our tour guide started off good but then she looked bored after visiting Carrie's appartment and when we asked if there was much to see on the last 30 mins of the tour after Sushi Samba she said no and advised if we were staying in that area to leave the tour then. I am not sure that I would recommend it to friends unless they were complete die hard fans who have seen every episode but even then I don't particularly think it was great value for money.

As we enjoy the show, the tour was very appropriate and also gave us a chance to see parts of new york that we had been unable to see due to time restraints. Our tour guide was excellent -very amusing

I thought it was entertaining, but not what we had expected. First, my daughter said that she expected the tour guide to dress up more, like the girls in Sex and the City, she had on cloth tennis shoes and jeans. One shop was not even open, the Pleasure one, which was ok with us, but appeared to be poor planning. Going to the Mayflower Bakery and eating the cupcakes was great. Seeing the apartment was interesting and seeing some of the places in the show was interesting.

Fun tour guide. Got to hear behind the scenes type info. Interesting to take the tour even if you aren't a avid Sex and the City viewer.

I was disappointed. I've been on many tours and felt the guide could have made it a lot more fun...besides just showing clips from episodes and some trivia questions. THe whole group wasn't very lively so I can't blame it ALL on her but perhaps some questions with wacky prizes...a few jokes...keep it perkier...if that's even a word!! The cupcakes and the stop for Cosmos helped.
