On Location Tours

Loved the NY movie tour with On Location, but... was disappointed with the NBC studio tour.

Gary was amazing. He was funny, professional and knowledeable. We had a bit of an issue with an angry resident near one of the locations and he handled it great. I would highly recommend the tour as it's a great way to see the city and have fun at the same time. Cheers!

My friends and I went on this trip a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. I went for a friend's birthday who is a big Sex and the City fan. I don't watch the show as often, but I still really enjoyed it. The fact that they show clips of the show as we are driving through NYC still made it interesting for me. And, it is an excellent way to tour the city as many of the big landmarks are featured in the tour. The only thing we commented about that we didn't like as much was that half the time on the bus we were watching tv, listening to the tour guide, and not really conversing with one another. But, still a blast and I highly recommend it. Have fun!

it takes you to lots of parts of the city, and references the show with tv clips. i am not a really big fan of the show, but the tour was still fun. the tv clips helped with that.

A group of my friends and I did the Sex & the City tour as part of my bachelorette party during the day time. We had a great time, the tour was interesting, relaxing, and you got a great look at the city without having to walk everywhere. Our guide was great, funny and entertaining. Definitely recommend this tour to a group of friends looking for a fun afternoon.

We really enjoyed the tour. Lou was an excellent tour guide. We would highly reccommend her and the tour.

Our "Sexpert", Stacey was amazing - very knowledgeable but also very amusing. You can tell she has spent a lot of time on stage! I would thoroughly reccomend this to any tourist, even if they have only seen one episode of the show...

Being a New Yorker, it is a little horrifying participating in such a tourist-y activity but as my younger sister was about to embark on her final year in college, my mother insisted we do something fun and since we are all HUGE fans of the show this seemed to make sense. The tour was very fun and our tour guide, Stacy, was AWESOME. She was very enthusiastic, funny, and knowledgeable about both the show and NYC in general. It was very interesting to see the hot spots and the clips of the show that played as we passed the spots made everything come to life even more. In general, I'd say a very cool, fun thing to do especially on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. In addition to the tour itself, we were provided with coupons/discounts at some of the tour locations. The only thing that could have made this perfect would be if the cocktails at "Scout" were free (though Stacy dutifully explained why they can't give out alcohol to a bus load of chicks...and hey, the cupcake from Magonlia was definitely enough consolation!). My suggestions to future tour participants would be to pack a light snack and bottle of water, as those were not provided, save for the cupcake previously mentioned. If you are a fan of the show, or even if you aren't a die hard, I'd recommend this tour as a fun, different thing to do with your gal pals.

I absolutely loved this tour. It wasnt just all the places we saw, it was also the amount of knowledge and facts that the tour guide had that really made it. It helped having the clips on the tv so we could familiarise ourselves with the places. Our tour guide Staci Rice was really funny, really knew her stuff and really enthusiastic. She was always on hand to help take a photo for you and full of information. I loved going to Steve and Aidans bar to have a cosmopolitan. My daughter came with me, she is only 13 which is the youngest you are allowed to go. A lot of the stuff was very adult which we expected. I would say that if you daughter/friend whatever is easily shocked and hasnt seen any of the episodes it might be a bit much. We loved it and if you are at all into Sex and the City and are visiting New York then you wont regret doing this tour. Best Ive ever been on.

so glad this was on our NY itinerary, one of the highlights of the trip. I would have never found all those areas of the park on my own, very good!!!

The SATC hotspots on the tour were very very exciting to be oneself on the original film locations/sets of SATC. The tour guide Christiane was very very nice and funny in reviewing the different film sequences. It had been so much fun to go into the "Pleasure Chest" and into "Budakan" and into "Scout". Many thanks again for the cupcakes nearby Magnolia bakery and surely the Cosmo ;) in Scout/O'Neal. The SATC tour was therefore so exciting because of the different districts which we got to know with no other tour. So many many thanks for this tour. It was a very great and nice tour with much fun and we will certainly book another Zerve tour in future. Kind regards ....

The tour was really good, but the tour guide Matt was really rude, he made to me an obscene gesture with his hand, only because I was translating to my wife of course at a really low tone. The places we went are really nice and exciting, but at the last hour of the tour we got bored with Matt singing act, and after that he started to talk about some inappropiates stories about Las Vegas, including sex tales regardless that at the tour were some childs. We were for a week in NY, and this activity was the worst we had.

The tour guide - Lou - was excellent and made the trip great fun. The places visited were great although it would have been nice to see Carrie's house! I would recommend this tour to other friends visiting New York.

The tour was really great. Our tour guide Matt was great. We went to many different sites and were able to take good pictures. I highly recommend this tour.
