On Location Tours

Our tour guide (Mark Baron) was very knowledgeable about the Sopranos because he has worked on the Sopranos set a dozen times! Great for Sopranos fans...a Sopranos-themed tour of New Jersey, trivia questions and movie clips on the bus, and insider info that's very entertaining. Many references to the movies Goodfellas, The Godfather, and Law and Order are made, so fans of these movies (who are likely to have seen the Sopranos) will find this tour enjoyable as well.

The tour guide, Mark, was wonderful! As an insider who acted in some episodes, he provided a perfect mix of information about the show, the filming and creative process, and behind-the-scenes trivia while injecting humor. He was very engaging, and I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. The tour took us everywhere we wanted to go and some places we didn't even think about going. I'm a huge fan but my 18 year-old nephew, who was with me, is a "super fan", who answered many of the trivia questions Mark had. These were a very nice touch, and the prizes were fun and funny. Also, the trivia and the video clips kept us interested and entertained while the bus was taking us from place-to-place. I thought it was great and would and will recommend this tour to all my Soprano-loving friends.

We really enjoyed the entertainment value of the tour. Liked the trivia quizzes and it was great fun to see so many sites from the show in real life. The only thing we missed on this tour was visiting the Soprano family's house. But since it would have made the tour more than an hour longer, it is fully understandable that we did not go there. Four hours was perfect! We are definately going home to watch the show all over again.

Our tour guide Amy was very funny. I took my younger sister and we both had a great time. I loved the sites and the stops that we made. I almost wish it were only open to women, because we had a man on our tour who spoke little English, and the woman he was with translated the entire time. I think the stop at Budokkan could have been shorter, and I would have liked to shop in the West Village a little more. Overall it was very fun and I will definitely recommend this tour to friends.

We are a Swedish couple who loved the Sopranos show and we really liked this tour. The tour guide was great!

LOVED THE TOUR. STARTED OFF MEETING WITH JOE"VITO" GANNASCOLI. GOT A AUTOGRAPH AND A PICTURE. MARK WAS A GREAT TOUR GUIDE. IT WAS AMAZING TO WATCH THE CLIP ON TV THEN MARK POINT OUT CERTAIN THINGS YOU DID NOT EVEN NOTICE OR KNOW ABOUT THE SCENE. SITTING AT THE FAMOUS BOOTH WHERE TONY SAT AT Holsten's DINER WAS A GREAT THRILL. THE BEST PART WAS THE BADA BING. THE EXTERIOR WHERE THE GURADRAIL WHERE RALPHIE KILLED TRACIE AND THE FENCE WHERE TONT BEATS UP RALPHIE. SITTIN IN THE BADA BING YOU COULD ALMOST FEEL TONY AND THE BOYS BEIN THERE. I HOPE TO DO THIS TOUR AGAIN IN FALL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR TO ANYBODY.

I really enjoyed this tour. It was just the right length, as it wasn't so long that you got bored but it still included all the sites. The air conditioned coach was good as it was so hot yet we still got to see all the sites! However I do wish we'd stopped at more places because I could not get pictures of some of the sites on the tour as I was on the wrong side of the coach. Our guide, Kate, was very informative and friendly and you could tell she actually watched the show. And she was dressed very nicely too- my mum thought she even looked like Blair! Overall this tour was really interesting, and it was great to see all the sites actually featured in the show. I loved it!

Our tour guide Kate was fantastic, she knows everything there is to know about gossip girl and the actors. It is a lot of fun to play along and talk GG for 3 hours. The sights were great, shopping was awesome and was also a good way to see New York. I really enjoyed this tour, even on my own.

Very much based on the television series - as advertised. Very enthusiastic guide. However I as a first time visitor to New York who only went on the tour because my daughter who is 16 LOVES the Gossip girl series I found it odd that we could pass in front of the Guggenheim without it being mentioned, but presumably it isn't featured in the series.

This walking tour of central park was a nice break from the buildings and fast pace of the city, which is just what I wanted. I didn't care about what film was filmed where, I was more going for seeing the park from top to bottom. In any case our tour guide, Annette Bening's voice but in a blonde, was easy paced and gave all ample time for photos. She spoke clearly and it was a good tour of the park as well as for the movie stories associated with it. I'd recommend the tour to any ages and it was ok to take it just by yourself. I come from London and it was well worth it!

It was a wonderful way to see the city. Our guide was so enthusiastic and knew so much about films and tv set in New York. we also did the Central Prk tour with the same guide. That was fantastic and gave us an overall view of the layout of the large park. We could then return on our own and find our way round. I would highly recommend both trips,

the tour was very informative. not only did we learn about the movie sites used in central park but we were also given facts about central park itself. however there were a lot of movies i have never seen.

If you have young teenagers, and they are fans of "Gossip Girls", they will love this tour. It was my grand-daughters 16th birthday and this was her surprise gift. She was so happy and couldn't believe she was going. I have never seen the show, but just watching her expressions and that of her friends that came with us, it was worth it for me too. I loved touring the Madison Ave. area and enjoyed seeing the Palace Hotel and Henri Bendels. The bus was comfortable, the tour guide was entertaining and enthusiastic, and the 3 hours just flew by.

hard to find , said look for the blue umbrella-finally found a girl with a tiny hand held one glad i got to see a bit of central park but the tour itself was boring movies that were referenced where all ones i have never seen and wouldnt want to see
