On Location Tours

My sister and I are HUGE SATC fans, and we had the time of our lives!! We are from Ontario Canada, and it was my first visit to NY. Loved the city, loved the tour, I would do it again in a heartbeat! Especially loved the stop at Scout! I was only back home one day, and had to watch the first movie again, to replay the restaurant scene, the rehearsal dinner party of Carrie and Big. I would highly recommend this tour to any fans!!! Only wish Big was there to greet us at the end!! LOL

It was great being able to see the actual places where things were filmed and see the clips along with it on the bus. Stephanie, our tour guide, was fabulous! Informative and friendly and a lot of fun. The stops were great too ... particularly in the West Village for a visit to Carrie's stoop and Magnolia Bakery. Thought I might not enjoy it as much since I was out on business and solo on the tour, but it was fabulous!

We enjoyed it immensely. It is important to have seen some of the shows and be familiar with the characters and places. The guide (Marc) was thoughtful enough to ask if we had seen the last episode (we hadn't - we're Netlexing it and are in year 4)) and he purposely avoided telling us the conclusion. The Tony look-a-like at Holsten's was a friendly, gracious treat. There is great personal insight into many of the actors. The description of some of the various inconsistencies, particularly in the introduction footage, is also fun. We were amazed at how many foreign visitors were on the tour and seemed to enjoy it as much as we did; we are from NJ and got special attention at various times.

My aunt, cousin and I loved it! Also bonus was the other history and anecdotes and gossip re New York. I thought Stephanie's training in voice projection (you cd so tell) excellent and funny and sensual. Her tone was lovely. The traffic was nuts but again the entertainment compensated.

This trip was great our tour guides name was Lou she was amazing she really knew her stuff. She was very through, We cam out from California and having watched the show on HBO and then rewatched it on dvd before we left we felt like we knew it pretty well, but she showed us things we had forgotten. I would recomend this tour to all of my friends. Lou was a great tour guide and did a hell of a job!

Really fun tour, especially with LIndsay as our guide. She made the tour really good and I would recommend this to any Gossip Girl fans.

My younger Son and I took this same tour in March, 2008. The bar was set very high for our return trip with my Wife and other Son. We all found that the tour was as outstanding as we remembered and had shared with the rest of the family. The tour guide was very professional and informative. Her high energy and delivery made the time fly by. I'd do the tour again next week. Our family is still talking about it.

Absolutely loved the tour!! A must for any Sex and the City lover. We got to see so many fun sights from the show. The tour guide was enthusiastic and fun! We did this tour our first day in New York which was very helpful for the rest of our trip. We became oriented with the city and got great ideas for shops and restaurants to visit. Definitely recommend this one!

The tour was our favorite part of our trip to New York. Sex in the City was my favorite show and the tour really captured the essence of the show. The clips were very helpful in remembering the moments on the show. The tour guide was great and helped everyone have a fun time. Thanks!!

This is the 3rd time I've done this tour. I teach a college course on STC and bring my students. I've had this same guide before and she was excellent. I enjoyed the new additions and tie ins to the movie and the new script. The one area in which I was disappointed was not being able to go to Carrie's stoop. I understood from the guide that the owner no longer allows it, which is too bad. Is there some way the company could offer to pay for allowing the tour groups to take a picture there? This was the first time I had an actual cupcake from Magnolia Bakery and I must say, I found those from the sister bakery to be more moist. As always, the bartender at "Scouts" was very nice and accommodating. The prices on the drinks really shot up. Last year, $4 was charged for Virgin Cosmos and this year it was $7, however, my students still enjoyed it. I hope the tour sites and script will change periodically, to keep it fresh. The stops could have been a little longer so we could shop, but otherwise lots of fun!

This was a fun tour and did give us something to do while in NYC. However, we only got out for 3 stops. We drove past a bunch of places I couldn't even see because we did a 3pm tour in November and by 6 it was already dark. Our tour guide Natasha was alright, she was really corny though and seemed totally scripted. Something to do if you don't have other things planned.

Absolutely loved the tour, gave a good background of New York, plus all of my fave Sex and the City spots! The tour guide was fabulous and I recommend everyone to try it out!
