On Location Tours

It was a simply BRILLIANT afternoon tour. At very least it was really nice to get out of the city but Marc, our guide, kept everything moving in a fun and informative way. He was truly excellent in fact. All the spots visited were really great especially Holsten's and "The Bing" which really felt like you were back in the show. The icing on the cake was getting to meet Jo Gannascoli before the tour departed, how many other tours can you take where you get to say yo met a cast member of the show?! Couldn't recommend it highly enough or Marc our guide for all his insights into the filming of the series.

From the UK and love Soprano's - I attended with my 21 year old son - who is also a big fan, Nice to get to meet Vito - but was quite shocked at the price of his souvenirs ($20 for a signed mouse mat of poor quality). Bus was nearly an hour late due to traffic issues - but tour guide did a great job keeping us updated an entertained! Drive into New Jersey was great - recognised lots of places. I realized that I had very little knowledge of the programme - there were some real enthusiasts on our tour who seemed to know every scene, fact, actor etc. So was interesting to learn more. Was slightly disappointed on the stops - so the diner where Christopher was shot, the alley way where a scene was filmed, and most disappointed with the Bada Bing - which has been totally overhauled and looks nothing like in the show. No photo's were allowed inside as this is still a working club - I can understand this - but nevertheless - was disappointing. The restaurant where the last scene was filmed was also a bit of an odd experience as it was filled with lunchtime diners and we "invaded" their space and started taking photo's of the famous booth where Carmela, Tony and AJ sat - felt kind of odd and also very invasive for those diners. Overall I think the tour is 2 hours too long - it felt like we were shown some very vague areas with loose connections to the show. Saying all this - our Tour Guide was superb - very funny, knowledgeable and gave us some great insight into the actors, how the show is produced, learnt a lot about theories on the ending and David Chase. Still think it could be cut down by at least an hour though.

It was a mother/daughter trip for us. We loved seeing all the Sex & the City spots, as well as sampling the Magnolia cupcakes and the Cosmos at the bar. The tour guide was entertaining, and the bus driver so nice! Stopping to look around at some of the shops and restaurants was good, rather than sitting on the bus the whole time. We really liked the video clips that matched the sites. One suggestion would be to show the video clip before seeing the site, rather than the other way around. All in all, I would highly recommend this to my friends who loved the show.

I really enjoyed my time on this tour, and my friend and I took notes of the hotspots to return to later. The tour stops for a couple opportunities to shop, and I was able to pick up some great Fresh products, enjoy a Magnolia Bakery cupcake, and a tasty Cosmo at "Aiden and Steve's Bar." I highly recommend this tour to those visiting Manhattan.

35 years of friendship with my 4 best girlfriends, we decided to take a "girls trip from Florida to NYC. Many times I have been to NYC in the past and always wanted to do this tour. It was raining out and that did not even damper our great time. From the moment we boarded the bus, the tour guide "Lindsey" was amazing. She took the time to get to know everyone. She was funny, charming and it was just an all around great tour. I happen to be a travel agent and will recommend this tour to all my customers. Thank you for a great time and a great birthday.

My wife and I spent 3 days in New York recently. One of the reasons we cam was to take the New York TV and,Movie tour. And we weren't disappointed. Our tour guide, Roseanne, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Her descriptions and explanations of what we were seeing was very detailed and she took time to answer any and all questions asked of her. If you have a love of all things TV and movie related we highly recommend this tour. It's money well spent.

I was in NY for only a week and I had always wanted to do the Sex & The City tour as I fell inlove with the show. was tossing up wheather to do it or not. & then which company. On Loation came up alot when i was searchig for the tour. They were amazing!! & I am so glad I did the tour. You see so many amazing places. & facts about the show that I never knew. I had walked past so many sences in the show in the time that i was already there & I was like a Carrie walking into a sale at Manolo Blahnik! I recommend this tour for any "Sexpot" (as our tour guide Lindsey called us). This really was an amazing tour. So many sences from the movie were shown. So many behind the scenes facts. I didnt want it to end. Very much enjoyed! x

I was excited to take this tour, and hurried from my previous destination to be on time for it. But that day a Thursday, at 3:00 p.m. was the day that the President was visiting downtown and our bus picked us up 45 minutes late. By that time my enthusiasm had worn out. I recommend this tour for people that are not that familiar with New York, or are "virgins" to The City. For me that I have visited New York so much, it wasn't as exciting as I had hoped for because I already knew all of the areas we went too. At least our tour guide Lindsey was great and excused herself profusely for the delay in the bus picking us up. I recommend you take this tour in the morning and on a weekend.

Rosanne was our guide and very enthusiastic and informative. A gd way to see manhattan. Gd amount of time on and off bus. Would recommend.

If you are looking for a tour that is truly unique, this is the one for you! Geared towards women, it is such fun to take this tour to all of the Sex and the City hot spots! Our tour guide, Lou, was fabulous and quite entertaining! Our tour bus was clean and comfortable, and we were provided with non-stop entertainment throughout the entire tour! It's an especially great way to see so many great neighborhoods in the city!

I went on this tour with 5 of my girlfriends on the first full day of our trip to NYC, and it was the perfect way to see the sites and get our bearings before launching on our own shopping and entertainment activities later in the week. Definitely recommend!!

We had six girls on this tour and we loved everything about it. From the locations visited, the secret facts about the show, to the free Magnolia's cupcakes! Our tour guide Lou was fabulous! She was well educated on all things STC and was the perfect guide! She voluntarily took photos of us and was extrememly helpful. Our bus driver was also great! This was our favorite part of our NYC experience!

IMy friends and I gave this tour a very average rating. Although not spectacular, we didn't consider it a waste of time and had fun. The guide, Deo, did a great job. He was not only informative, but also entertaining. I think he worked very hard to make the enperience enjoyable. But the content was a little disappointing, mainly because it was very dated, focusing primarily on GHOSTBUSTERS and FRIENDS. Additionally, the stops were unnecessary and a bit of a waste of time. The tour would be much improved if more current films and television shows were cited, and maybe just a stop for lunch or a snack. It did, however, provide a great ride through lower Manhattan, and we got to see the locations of various neighborhoods, areas, and buildings. Overall, it was something different to do on a day off. And because of the area covered, I no longer feel the need to take a tour of NYC!

Our group had Roseanne as the guide, a fun, high-energy lady who had no shortage of information all the way through the tour. Now I know where Ed Burns lives, I may have to move to NYC ;-)

This is the second time my daughter and I have been on this tour. We were pleasantly surprised that they've added a few new stops since the last one. Our tour guide was fun and informative and the time (3 1/2 hours) flew by. Stops at the Pleasure Chest, Scout (Aidan's bar), Magnolia Bakery, and Buddakan were great.
