	Disappointment with the Tour guide. Sex and the City Hotspots

	I went on the tour on Saturday, May 31@ 10am with a groups 13 friends to celebrate a birthday. Lisa was our tour guide. We were all very excited to go on the tour. Lisa had technical problems with the DVD player and she explained that the driver she had was new working with her and he is responsible for any technical problems on the bus. That's fine and thanks for the explaination. However, her unprofessionalism in her conduct when ttalking to the Bus driver was horrible. She then explained that she is pregnant and very emotional. I'm currently 4 months pregnant and I work in the service industry and no matter how bad things might go at work; you always hid it to the customer and talk to the person later on the side if you have a problem. I would never talk to a fellow coworker in the way she did. I would suggest that she might want to take some time off during her pregancy if she can't handle a little mishap. I thought I was the only one that felt embarassed and bad for the driver but all of my friends had the same thoughts. Please let Lisa know that's why most of us did not tip her and we tipped the Driver instead. Her behavior did effect my thoughts about the tour. Lastly, I would suggest that the tour operators not talk about the movie if people have not seen it. She made several references to the movie with people who had seen it. Even though she didn't give away any details it was frustrating to hear them talk about it. Like I said, I work in the Tourism industry and I know how important Honest eedback is so I hope you listen to your customers. Thank ytou.

	The tour guide, I think her name was Lisa, was so funny. I had a great time seeing all the sites. I also enjoyed watching clips from the show that I hadn't seen in a while. The cosmos were delicious and so were the cupcakes.

	Amy was our tour guide for the day. Very funny.. out of the group of women.. a married man with his wife was the only male aside from the driver there.. Even though it rained.. the excitement was there as well...

	A group of friends and I got together for the tour right before seeing the movie and I loved it. I thought it was fun and learned things about the filming and characters as well as the actors. The tour guide was quite informative. The only thing I could recommend is a longer stay at "Scout" otherwise, I have to say I would enthusiastically recommend it to my friends.

	It is a great tour and lots of fun. If I had to complain the stop at the bar was too short , I felt a little rushed and had to hurry and finish my drink .

	I enjoyed seeing all areas of the city, a little history and if you're a TV & movie person, you'll really enjoy it. Do it early in trip so you know where you want to come back to.

	One of the things I wanted to see in NYC was the Rice Pudding Store....little did I know it was one of the surprises on the tour. We loved the tour!

	Bus tour guide was absolutely fantastic. Sites were very interesting and tour guide was articulate and very knowledgeable. And pretty. However the NBC tour was a big rip off. The tour lasted from 4pm to 5pm. We watched a 10 minute film (waste of time) then we spent 15 minutes going through security. Five minutes in Conan and Sat.Nite Live studios each. Five minutes in a small room with monitors showing makeup applied, 5 minutes where 2 kids read the news and weather and at 4:50 we walked back to the NBC souvenir store. My daughter is a make-up artist in films and TV in Canada and I wanted her to see something more than a loop video of makeup applied. So to summarize I have to quote Triumph the Insult Comic dog from Conan's show and say that the NBC Studio tour was a nice tour........for me to poop on!

	Fabulous tour! Loved that we had the opportunity to stop at several places and explore. Also thought the video clips were great tie in to the tour.

	Extremely talented tour guide. Friendly, informative, funny and charming. The tour was well-planned and fun. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed it very much. We look forward to touring again. The video footage to back-up the locations were helpful in getting an understanding of the importance of the location. The tour guides insightful knowledge of the history and techniques used for each respective show pulled the group together and being able to get a hands-on approach made the tour that much more interactively fun. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

	3 friends from the OC on a SATC:TM opening weekend. We are huge fans of the show and now the movie. We felt the tour was fun but could have done without the sex toy shop. Not that we are prudes, but come on, we have these shops back home and found this one no different. We felt the 30 minutes spent in the shop could have been better spent viewing other locations. Also, Magnolia cupcakes are good but not remarkable. What we would have preferred would have been a stop at Payard instead for the fabulous pastries. Payard is also much more photogenic than Magnolia. This tour never goes above Central Park. I think the Lincoln Center fountain would have been nice to see, also a nice photo op. Tour guide Lou was cute, perky and very approachable.

	Five girlfriends traveled to New York on the day the movie opened. We began our day with the SATC tour (followed by hte movie later that day). Our tour guide was funny and enthusiastic, and a true New Yorker. The sightseeing was worth the money, including a peek at Carrie's apartment stoop as seen on the show 9my favorite part). There is a brief stop in the Pleasure Chest, and if you are a Samantha then you will love it (though it is small), but if you are a Carrie, you will certainly find some things a little too vulgar. Either way the stop is relatively brief. As you pass shots featured in the series (and the movie), you can see the video clips of the context on the show where they were featured. This is a nice distraction during traffic or traveling between the stops. There was some fun trivia throughout the tour, and a little trivia game at the end (no prizes though, just for fun). The tour ends at the HBO store where you get a discount off your purchase if you show your SATC tour booklet (which you will get on the bus). Overall we had an amazing time. Our group ranged from one SATC fanatic, two huge fans, and two others that enjoyed the show, but were not super fans. Everyone in our group enjoyed their time on the tour and would highly recommend this activity to all!
