On Location Tours

Saw plenty of sites and heard much information with regards the series and the filming etc, Enjoyed most the cafe at the end and the stop which would have been Satrialis (excuse the spelling).

Gary was knowlegdable and fun.

Thought it might be a bit peculiar, trawling through New York looking for SATC hotspots - mainly cos I read a snotty review of it by A.A.Gill ( a male fellow-Brit reviewer, who is usually astute but in this case misjudged the experience). Actually it was well done and great fun. It's nice to be driven around hip areas of New York; the commentary is upbeat and in places almost like stand-up; and all the clips of the show give it an entertaining depth & dimension. We had cupcakes laid on - and even Cosmopolitans. The main point though is that you don't have to be a 'saddo' to enjoy this! The tour isn't full of wistful people staring at empty locations and wishing they were Carrie: it's more of a hymn to New York. The location managers had a decent budget for the show, and they picked venues that showcased the city ... and it's fascinating to see the New York they chose. If you want to see where trendy fun stuff happens in NY, this is one way to do it, with lots of SAT. snippets thrown in too.

Participated with our daughter (13) who is a Gossip Girl fan. She loved it of course. We're not familiar with the show but we enjoyed the tour of the city. Special mention to our guide Kate, she was very entertaining, enthusiastic and cheerful.

Amy was our tour guide and she was very enthusiastic and entertaining throughout the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and it was really good to see various locations from SATC along with all the clips from the show that were shown along the way. The cupcakes and Cosmopolitans were especially good too!

If you love tv shows and movies this is the best tour ever to get to visit every place where the best movies and sitcoms were filmed, also it's a great way to go all around Manhattan and visit the most important places. Definitely, it's a pretty nice tour that you must do.

We are a couple from england, on a visit the New York where we got engaged, during are stay in the big apple we did the tour, Gary are guide was fantastic, full of enthusiasm and knowledge, interaction with visitors on buswas just the best, highly recommend.

This is my 2nd tour, and I will be back for a 3rd. The tour guides always have you laughing. You cover so much of the city that it's hard to believe you fit all those sights and stops in 3.5 hours. The places you stop at are worth the trip, let alone the play-by-play on the bus. And if you are not a huge Sex and the City fan, you can catch up on some missed episodes because they preview the scene so you can match the location in NYC.
