a semi-charmed manhattan

| all in all the tour provided a quaint view of various neighborhoods in the city... it presented a semi-charmed manhattan not unlike the manhattan inhabited by the women of sex and the city... i loved that the tour linked the places visited with the sex and the city video clips that were shot there. all in all the tour disclosed interesting locations which i would otherwise not have known about... the "power shopping" felt like a waste of time... but other than that it was a fun day | ||||||

| The Sex and The City Tour was a lot of fun for fans of the show. The tour guide knew all of the on the screen and behind the scene tidbits. The only thing I did not like about the tour was the obvious commercial aspects of it like: A stop at the Pleasure Chest A stop at O'Neals for a $9 cosmopolitan The drop off in front of the HBO store Loved the cupcakes! The absolute best. | ||||||

Strongly recommended for all SATC fans.

| I would highly recommend this tour to all avid Sex and the City fans who want to have a deeper insight into behind the scenes of both the series and the recent film. It takes you to some famous locations and looks at the main character's favourite spots which is great. The brilliant tour guide Emily was also very informative and funny and she made the tour alot of fun. The only thing I was slightly dissapointed about was the fact that I thought we would get to see the outside of Carrie's apartment and the famous steps outside her house, so not getting to see them was somewhat dissapointing. But overall I would give the tour 9 out of 10. | ||||||

Enjoyable and interesting but abit too long

| It was pouring rain the day we had the tour, the new tour guide we had was very informative and it was really an interesting tour but I thought it was too long. We had a family and the teenagers loved it the adults found it too long. Here are some specific comments: * The stop at the pizza place was really a waste of time if you want to plan a stop for food it would be better at a restaurant where you have time to sit and have a coffee and eat perhaps like Katz's deli or similar grabbing a piece of pizza to eat on the bus was a waste of time. * The DVD player on the bus used to show some of the clips was mounted too low in the bus there was a guy sitting ahead of us with a huge head and thus for the entire tour we couldnt see the TV screen or any of the clips. * You should also provide a map of where the bus is going as there were so many things mentioned by the tour guide and it was impossible to take photos out of the window due to the rain, so after the tour was over we wanted to go back to a couple of locations but were confused as to the route the bus took and missed alot of stuff. * It would also be great if the tour actually visited a TV show or movie set in progress not sure if that is possible but that would be really interesting and sort of what we expected to see but did not. Overall it was interesting but too long in my opinion | ||||||

| The guide, while enthusiastic seemed to dwell on several movie rather than give more variety. At one point I was sure she was being paid to promote Gossip Girl, Cloverfield and I Am Legend. I know more about the movies filmed in New York than she seemed to! | ||||||

| I enjoyed the NBC Tour, but thought I was going to see more. When I did the tour 15 years ago it was better. I guess because the Today is now across the street and I saw that then. Also, I thought I was going to see the museum again with the old radios, etc. and I didn't see that either. I think the tour can be improved. The On Location Tour was great. I really enjoyed the day and Jessica was the tour guide and she did a great job. It was very informative and fun. The pizza lunch stop was unexpected and it was delicious. I would recommend this tour to anyone, especially if you are in to movies and tv. | ||||||

| This tour is well worth the money. You get to visit many well known sex and the city locations which take you all round manhatten as well as sampling the famous cosmopolitan and the most delicious cupcake in new york. Our tour guide, Amy, was knowledgable, funny and very entertaining. She certainly helped to develop the party atmosphere on the bus. A must for all sex and the city fans but also very accessible for those who are less familiar with the show. I highly recommend it!!! | ||||||

| You don't have to LOVE Sex and the City to enjoye this tour. IT's very entertaining and gives you information not just about the show but the city and some moment's of it's history that you won't find in ordinary sources. IT brings you to some very cute spots of Manhattan, that you really want to go back afterwards. I wouldn't recomend the tour for men, it's all about girls! | ||||||

| I thought that the tour was very cute. I liked the fact that it had clips on the bus telling us about the hot spots. I guess its better and more appreciated if you are not a New Yorker. Being that everyone from my whole group was, it was entertaining and we could relate to the stops. I loved the fact that it was an air conditioned bus with a bathroom. The only recommendation that I guess I would have is that, it would be nice to go to a place like Buddakhan and have it be open, so people can appreciate a place like that to the fullest. Otherwise, since it is a day tour I would suggest to change the location. | ||||||

| took this tour on tuesday 30th June all i can say is that our guide was very informative and had us laughing with his humour.........would recommend this tour to all as it is a good way to see new york and all your favourite sites in movies and television. | ||||||
