Fabulous & Fun Tour - Don't Miss It!

| My daughter and I are huge fans of the show and were visiting New York together for the first time. The tour was everything we hoped it would be and our guide, Emily, was terrific. She made the tour both informative and fun - it's obvious she's a huge fan of the show herself and we really appreciated her enthusiasm and knowledge of the characters and the show. She gave us great tidbits of information about the show and the stars and also kept us laughing for the entire trip. The day of the tour was my birthday and she asked everyone to sing "Happy Birthday" to me while we were eating cupcakes in the park - truly one of the highlights of my day. If you're a diehard "Sex and The City" fan or if you just want to experience the different parts of the city and everything it has to offer - or even if you just want to know some of the best places to see and/or be seen, then this is the tour for you. | ||||||

| It was a great tour in seeing all of the different on-location spots, the chance to sit on Carrie's stoop, and all of the behind-the-scenes info, but the first stop at the Pleasure Chest could be dropped from the tour. I think only one person from our bus bought something, so I thought that stop was a waste of time. | ||||||

| The tour guide was good. I was on another Zerve tour in NYC this week (Manhattan Movie tour) and found this tour guide (Lisa) to be much better. She was energetic and entertaining. She asked some Sex and City trivia questions which is appealing to die hard fans. She also asked where people on the tour were from and this was interesting to see. There was no running water in the toilet on the bus and no other toilet available until near the end of the tour when we went in to the bar. If this happens again please consider providing Wet Ones or some other form of cleaning-sanitizing wipe in the bus toilet. I was having my period and was disgusted by the fact that I could not get water to wash my hands. The cupcakes were great but napkins would have been nice. I also think it would be great for the tour to offer a bottle of water when they offer food. You might also prevent yourself from a law suit if someone chokes on the cupcake. This bus was better than the other one I went on for the other tour. There were more TVs--and when you are watching a very small TV you don't want to be 10 feet away from it. The movie clips and commentary the tour guide provided were interesting and well put together. The tour guide gave us instructions for giving her a tip but made no mention of tipping the bus driver and did not sufficiently demonstrate her thanks for his contribution. I was by myself on the tour. When we went into the bar I got a cosmpolitan and looked for a seat. Many of the girls who were there with friends immediately grabbed seats and "saved" surrounding seats while someone went up for drinks. I went to the end table and attempted to sit down on a stool at the outer edge. There was a girl there who was saving two tables and chairs for her and her friends. She told me the seat was saved. I got up. Her friends joined her but one of the tables remained empty with someone's bag on one of the stools. It would have been nice if they were more considerate. A simple solution would be if the tour guide reserves a table for those who might be on the tour by themselves. The tour guide handed out the brochure with the list of stops at a time that was very appropriate. Toward the end of the tour (she left them on our seats during or last stop). The other tour guide the other day gave them to us as we were exiting the bus. I appreciated having the brochure earlier so that I could look at it and ask questions of the guide. The tour guide demonstrated passion and respect for the show (Sex and the City) which is very important when there are so many die-hard fans on the bus. She also gave appropriate and respectful background information on some of the rumours about the actresses not getting along well. In other words, she continues to be a publicist for the show--something that made my experience enjoyable and which will continue to draw fans on these tours. Thanks, | ||||||

| The tour guide was not captivating or entertaining. He offered way to much detail about the making of movies--detail that would only be of interest to those in the business. Most of us on the bus were movie / tv show fans and the tour would have been better if the guide demonstrated more enthusiasm for average joe viewing than for production. The tour guide did not seem to establish rapoire with the "guests" on the bus. His style was a soliloquay rather than interactive. He did not ask where people on the tour were from. He was not very good at answering questions that I would have expected him to be able to answer--ie. queries about something he said. He did however demonstrate thanks and support to the driver. He was a very skilled driver. The black and white cookie was a great food choice for this tour. It would have been nice if a bottle of water was provided at the same time--it takes a long time for 45 of us to go looking for something to drink while at a stop. The light in the toilet on the bus did not work. We were not told this as a group. A great deal of time was wasted by those on the bus who were trying to figure it out. thanks | ||||||

| My friend wanted to go on this tour. I ended up loving it. I have seen all the non-HBO episodes of "Sex" and liked them -- end of season better than beginning. Visiting all the spots and getting the show background made me appreciate the show more. This tour gives you a terrrific guide to NYC -- all the areas from uptown down to the Village. I lived in NYC years ago and saw areas I had never been to before. The stops the tour makes are really fun, with little extras to enjoy (go on the tour and find out what). Highly recommend this be the first activity you do when you get to the city. | ||||||

| i brought my girlfriend to new york for her 60 birthday. we came up on the bus from baltimore. i wanted to do something different other than just see a show and go shopping. someone told me about this tour and thought it was a great idea. we had a really great time and our tour guide "lou" was really fun. i would highly recommend this to anyone. thanks. | ||||||

| The tour guide was very knowledgeable of information and she made the trip exciting as well as fun. We have two teenage daughters that were on the trip with us and they both enjoyed it. The various places were fun especially sitting on the steps of the Cosby Show. We would highly recommend this trip for young as well as old, and in between. Anyone that watches TV or sees lots of movies would benefit and truly enjoy this trip. We would consider going back when we come back to NY. The TV mini screens on the bus trip allowed you to see different clips from movies and regular TV shows. The accommodations on the bus was excellent. The seats were comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent. It was great to have a bathroom on the bus as well. | ||||||

| I went on this tour with my sister who is the real fan ,but I ended up being a sex and the city fan after the tour ,it was great fun and really exciting seeing all the cool spots and the TV clips ,the tour guide was on point,I would reccommend this tour ... a blast. | ||||||

| From the begining my daughter and I knew the tour would be fantastic. As soon as we got on the bus our guide began giving little facts about the show, the characters and the language used on the episodes. We found the little clips enjoyable and we were surprised at the few clips we didn't remember. We really liked learning inside tips about the show, and the characters on the show, especially those about their personal lives. The day was perfect for us and I highly recommend the tour for any mother and daughter duo, looking to have fun in New York. | ||||||

| Being a huge Sex and the City fan, I thought this tour was great! It was so exciting to see the locations where many of the scenes were filmed. And to be able to sit on "Carrie's front steps"...well, that was the best. The Magnolia Bakery muffins were so delicious as were the Cosmos at "Scout's". I also liked the fact the tour leader was so knowledgable about the show AND the city, also pointing out other points of interest along the way. It was an overall fun and great experience and the price was perfect too. The only thing I do want to mention is that the tour is definitely not approriate for kids. I really think that kids under 15 should not be allowed on the tour. There were two kids around 8-10 yrs. old in our group and I felt a little uncomfortable with that, being as the show was not approriate for kids, the tour is not either. Anyone who is a die hard fan of the show should know what I mean without having to go into detail. That is the only thing that I thought was wrong with the tour, otherwise ~ perfect . | We enjoyed this tour totally! The guide was great, the driver did an amazing job maneuvering through the city and the city is wonderful. We enjoyed seeing the many famous scenes used in movie and T.V. | ||||||
