I attended the sex and the city tour for the second time and enjoyed it even though I knew what I was in store for. I did however, feel that there was less information given and less clips shown this time. I attended the tour last year and felt it was worth it to see it again with other friends while attending New York.

The tour was even more fact packed than I expected. Our tour guide was exceptional and provided us with great information that would otherwise have gone unknown. It is great what they do: They show you the locations explaining what scenes were filmed there, and then show you a clip to remind you of what they are talking about. The addition of these short clips made the tour much more entertaining than I expected. Thanks On Location!

The Sex and the City tour was great. The tour guide was very good and funny. She really knew the show. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is a Sex and the City fan.

our tour guide, stephanie, was a carrie bradshaw 2006 dynamo. she set the tone, the tempo and the beat and got the group into the S & C mood. the tour was fun and it was interesting to hear and see the little details and places where the program was filmed, and also to hear tidbits of the actors' lives, both then and now.

The Sex And the City tour was the best part of my trip to New York. To be able to see and hear more about the places that I've watched on the show was so much fun! Not only do you get to learn more about the show itself and feel like you're actually a part of it, you get to learn more about New York. The S&TC tour was far more interesting than the other tour I had while in New York and would reccommend it to anyone who loves Sex and the City. Having our picture taken on the stoop of Carrie's apartment was an incredible experience and the cupcakes from Magnolia bakery was delicious! Our tour guide was not only fun, but she knew her stuff well, dressed the part, and gave us suggestions as to where we should spend our Saturday night. The S&TC tour is a pricless NYC experience!!!!

My friend and I were visiting from Sweden and Bermuda respectively - we had an awesome time enjoying this tour!! Highly recommend!!.... We had Stephanie as a tour guide and she was awesome!!! Even though we did not watch every episode of the show, I don't think this will affect how much you will enjoy the tour. You get to watch clips of the show on the bus anyway (it was sold out when we went!! there was even a second bus behind us!) and it was very funny.... our guide really made the tour - she was hilarious (stephanie) and perfect as a guide! She gave us lots of local tips as well and was very accomodating with any questions you might have... you know, the important ones like restos, shopping, clubs, etc.! I would definitely do this tour again if visiting the city and recommend it also as an overview to the city even though you don't necessarily see all the 'touristy' sites, i think it's more fun to see this other side of new york and you get to see something different! The cupcakes were delicious!

I went on the FABULOUS Sex and the City tour with three girlfriends. Two of the friends had only watched a few episodes of the series and they enjoyed it just as much as we did. It is a great tour of New York City, fan of the show or not. We loved browsing at the "sex shop", eating the yummy cupcakes, having our photo taken on Carrie's steps, and ofcourse sipping Cosmo's at Steve and Aidan's bar. The video clips and trivia games were a fun touch, too. We only wish that we had taken the tour at the beginning of our stay in New York because of all the recommended restaurants and clubs suggested at the end of the tour.

I admit, I am not a die-hard, know-every-line-of-dialogue fan of Sex in the City. I went on the tour because I was visiting NYC with my cousin, and she is a pretty big fan of the show. Now, if I were a big fan of the show, I'd probably give the tour 4 stars instead of 3 because I would have just been so excited to recognize things from the show that were right in front of me in real life, but I'm not that kind of fan, so I'll just give it 3 stars. ;) Pros: The tour guide was enthusiastic, spoke loudly enough so that we could hear all the way to the back of the bus, she knew a ton of little tid bits of information about the show, characters, and locations around NYC, and she was very personable. The cupcakes from The Magnolia Bakery were scrumptious! They give you a guide brochure that has useful information in it, especially the addresses of places you might like to return to once you're done with the tour. Cons: You really spend the majority of your time on the bus, just watching clips of the show and craning your neck to see something as you drive by. You don't really get a chance to take many pictures because you're going by the locations in the bus, so it's sort of drive-by photography through the bus window. A few of the locations were blocked by large trucks or construction. :( Even though you pay about $40 to go on the tour, the only things you get are the cupcake and the little informational brochure. When you stop to get off the bus at the bar and The Pleasure Chest you don't get anything 'complementary' for being on the tour, so you sort of feel like you've been duped into visiting a place where you'll feel obligated to "buy at least something" or you just wait around while other people shop/buy drinks. Too many people on the tour, felt crowded and clumsy I basically felt like I rode around on a bus for 3 hours watching short clips of the show, so that wasn't very fulfilling. On a final note, one of the people on my tour was a HUGE fan of S&TC show she loved it. I think she would have loved it no matter what. So it all just depends on how big of a fan you are. Hope this was helpful. Enjoy! :)

The Friends portion of the tour was very exciting, that's the initial reason that I booked this tour. Our tour guide was Kymberly and she was the most informative and not boring tour guide that I have ever had. There were also places from Seinfeld, Will and Grace, Breakfast at Tiffany's and many many other places. I strongly recommend this tour.

What a great way to see differents part of the city while seeing areas where they filmed. Gave a great insite to what research and work went into filming in NYC. Fun to see the clips of places we were also seeing in real life. Enjoyed the stops, loved all the info the tour guide gave us. She was fabulous!! Very well spoken and fun! Overall the whole experience was well worth it

I really enjoyed this tour. It was interesting to see various places in New York where shots from tv and movies took place. It' also a great way to see the city in general. I also liked how we were told and shown where specific shows and movies were shot. Then we got to see a clip of the show or movie on the bus, so you can put it together! I would recommend this tour to anyone who's a big fan of tv and movies!

Lisa was our tour guide--very knowledgeable and enthusiastic!! I wish we could have spent more time at the different locations. The tour was very well integrated with clips of the show seen along the way. I would highly recomment without any hesiation.
