Went Above and Beyond to Make Us Happy! New York TV and Movie Sites

Due to a flood in the subway system, NYC was CRAZY the day of our trip. Our tour guide had to walk 3 miles to meet us, and the bus was stuck in gridlock trying to meet us. Our tour departed 1.5 hours late. With the late departure and heavy traffic along the route, we were worried about making our flight home. The tour company offered everyone on the tour free passes to take another tour, and then paid for a cab for us to catch our flight. Even though the flooding and ensuing chaos was not their fault, they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant experience. As for the tour itself, we had to leave early to catch our flight. But what we did see was excellent. The tour guide was very enthusiastic (even after walking 3 miles) and was very informative. She must have seen every tv show and every movie in existence! The tour was also good as a general tour of NY as well. We could not have been happier with our experience!

We took this tour on the hottest day in the city and there was a minor natural disaster.. but our tour guide Liz was great! we ended the tour 1 hour late because of the traffic but she kept us entertained the whole time. Almost all of the locations i wanted to see we did and the clips and trivia will be exciting for all sex and the city fans!!

I went on the Sex and the City TV tour around New York City about two years ago and recommended it to all of my friends! My sister wanted to go so I was able to make my second trip earlier this week with her and had a GREAT time! Not only is it fun to see all the hot spots from the TV show, but it's also a fantastic way to see the entire city! Loved it!

It was really informative and funny. My girlfriend loved all the locations, especially the picture outside Carrie's house. Cupcakes were good, as were the cocktails at Joe's bar. Thumbs up for the hostess.

This tour was definately woth the money. Very detailed, very fun! The Tour Guide (Lulu i think?) was hillarious and knew so much about the show which made it great. Lots of laughs, lots of fun! You get to see alot of the filming spots that were on the show and it's amazing! If you love the show, you'll love this tour no question!

The Sex and the City bus tour crams as much info about the show as possible into 3 hours. Our tour guide, Lisa, was very entertaining, sassy and funny, and her commentary very much helped bring the show to life during our tour. Lots of behind-the-scenes information added flavour as we drove through Greenwich Village and the Meat Packing District. Complimentary cupcakes were a special treat, and the best part was having our pictures taken on Carrie's front step! At less than $40, the SATC tour is fantastic value. I would highly recommend this tour to all fans who want an authentic Sex and the City Manhattan experience.

personally, im a huge fan of the show so anyone who likes the show will loove the tour. it tells you a lot of behind the scenes information and info about the actresses while also showing you a ton of stuff from the show. my favorite part was taking my picture on carrie's stoop. i made my boyfriend go with me and he was pretty much about ready to shoot himself by the end of the tour. so ladies, if you are going to bring your guy with you, make sure that you make it up to him (ALOT) afterwards because he will most likely hate it.

This tour is awesome! Roseanne, our tour guide, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very charming. We went into neighborhoods that I normally would not have thought to go into. I would suggest this to any movie buff or just anyone wanting to see more of the city.

It was interesting, but first of all the guide, who was really very kind, speak too fast, and even my english is not so bad, it was quite difficult to follow what she was explaining. Another thing is that perhaps there should be a list of the films but with the tranlated name in other countries. Finally I excpected to see more locations.

Surprisingly, this tour turned out to be the best one we took while in NYC. We couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable and interesting guide (Rosanne) for the TV and Movie Tour. The 3.5 hours flew by even for folks like me who did not necessarily recognize many of the films that were mentioned. Stops by the Cosby brownstone and the Friends apartment building were especially a treat to see. All in all, I would very highly recommend this tour to all visitors to the City regardless of your interest (or disinterest) in the entertainment business. You won't be disappointed!
A Must-Do for TV & Movie Buffs New York TV and Movie Sites

This engaging and enthusiastic tour is well worth the money. You learn a wealth of information about the process of TV and movie filming in NYC, see a plethora of fascinating TV/movie landmarks, view corresponding TV/movie clips, and participate in fun sing-alongs--all in a comfortable, air conditioned bus (there is a bathroom on board). This tour is fun for all ages--both myself and my teenage niece loved it. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, energetic, and helpful, and she was determined to make our trip as enjoyable and worthwhile as possible. A few tips: you get a program at the end of the tour that lists the names and locations of all tour sites, so you don't need to write them down during the tour; there are a couple of opportunities to get snacks along the tour, so if you don't bring food with you, you should be okay; ask the tour guide any questions that pop into your head--ours was eager to answer to the best of her ability, and the guide may be able to alter the tour and show you a specific landmark of interest if you ask about it. All in all, whether it's your first time to NYC or you have lived here all your life, I highly recommend checking out this tour.
