| this tour is fabulous...great insider information on the best show to hit TV since Mary Tyler Moore in the 70's! Getting to sit on Carrie's stoop, sipping Cosmos in the bar that was used for "Scout", checking out "the rabbit" at the Pleasure Chest, zipping by the fabulous restaurants and clubs where the girls hung out made for an amazing afternoon. our tour guide was witty, filled with little anecdotes about when she saw Carrie running from a taxi or Mr. Big in a bar downtown...fun facts that you would never know unless you took this tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone and everyone who has loved Sex & the City and misses "the girls". Enjoy! | ||||||

| Hi I very much enjoyed the tour of sex in the cidy but was worried that my husband who had never seen a show would of been bored by it and I was pleasently surprized. I liked the way the tour was conducted showing pieces of the film clip before the actual spot.It allowed for myself things I had forgotten to revisit and for someone who'd never seen a show to know what the tour guide was talking about. Well done! My only one thought is that at the end of the tour we were handed out a guide and it wasn't till much later I'd open it to find there wa a envolpe to add a tip in.Perhaps that could of been handed out at the begining of the tour instead. | ||||||

| Emphasizes Ghostbusters, Hitch, Friends. You should be also be familiar with TV programs like Crosby Show, Seinfield, Sex in the City to get some value out of the tour. | ||||||

| Our family truly enjoyed taking the movie tour. We had an excellent tour guide who made the tour fun and exciting. We enjoyed the occasional stops and walking to various movie locations and having the tour guide take our pictures. Our favorite spot was the Friends Bldg. because we love watching that show. We liked the movie clips they gave on the bus as well. W especially liked getting the black and white cookie like they had in the Seinfeld show. We never had a black and white cookie before and it was great. We would definitely recommend this tour to our friends and family. | ||||||

Video Clips Distracting

| I know it sounds odd to say that the movie clips were distracting on a movie tour, but the tour guide would not show the clips until after we had passed by the location, sometimes well after we had ridden by the areas on the clips. She did a lot of re-winding and showing (of course, well after we had gone by the location). Not all of the screens were working all the time either and there was a lot of static and jumpy pictures. It gave me a slight headache. It would have been better to have seen the clips and then seen the location live and up close. A suggestion for use of the video clips would be to have the screen show the tilte of the movie and the year it was made, along with stars's names, then have the clip show and simply run a continuous loop of all of the clips during the tour. The trivia questions were fun, but the crowd got a little tired of all of the "Friends" questions. A number of African-Americans on our bus had never even seen the show. It might be a good idea to include some locations featuring some films of interest for them. The tour guide was okay, but was a little ditsy acting, especially when the video equipment did not cooperate. The bus driver was extremely competent and I was most impressed with his handling of the big bus on some of the narrow sections we rode through. The black and white cookies, while a nice touch for a treat, were stale. The information on films currently filming in the city was also a nice touch. The rice pudding store was unimpressive and did not add anything to the experience. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the tour. Brian was was an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgable. Movie buffs that we are - it was so fascinating to see the actual locations, get inside scoop and behind- the- scenes info. We would highly recommend this tour to friends and family and will definitely take this tour again ourselves the next time we are in the city. The actual tv and movie clips shown on the air conditioned bus was also a great idea. It is also a great way to see the many sights and interesting neighborhoods of the city itself. One small suggestion - how about (since it was over the lunch hour) charge a little more and stop at one of the diners/restuarants used as a location for a drink & quick bite to eat. Thank you again. | I really enjoyed this tour and it gave a fun and interesting overveiw of New York by tying into the movie and TV shows we are all so familar with. This was my first trip to New York and I would high recommend this tour to others. Our guide was great and very engaging. | ||||||

| My daughter had already been on it with their friends and we are all big fans of Sex and the City. She recommended it. And so while we were on vacation we all went on it. Our tour guide was great. We loved the tour and recommend it highly. | ||||||

| This was a very comfortable way to see the sites and hear about my favorite show of all time. We sat back in an air conditioned comfy bus ride with a tour guide who clearly new her material about Sex in the City and pointed out more things about the show, that I didn't even know - and I thought I new it all about the show. As we glided down 5th ave, Natasha (our tour guide) pointed out right from the start places that were filmed in the show. Then she put in a VCR tape and showed small clips of that very seen. So you really had a picture of where they were in the show and what season. As well as being a visual tour it was also hands on because our first stop was a shop the girls had gone into to purchase some naughty paraphanelia - needless to say, we all had a big laugh. Then our next stop consisted of eating a cupcake that came from one of the local bakeries that Charlotte and Carrie sat in front of chatting away about their men. Finally, our last stop ended with a cosmopolitan drink straight from the "Scout Bar" aka "O'Neills". Since our tour started early on a Sunday morning, that drink cemented a smile on our faces for the rest of the day. Great tour and I would actually see it again, I loved it that much!!!! | ||||||

| Tour guide talks endlessly about tiny details about the show that are just too small and inconsequential to be of interest - far too many of the stops and land-marks are of little significance - after awhile you just tune out. | ||||||

| We found the tour to be great fun. The guide supplied wonderful "insider information" and thoroughly identified each location to the scenes filmed there and then followed-up with a film clip. He was interesting, informative and funny! Only one criticism: The bus was comfortable, but the bathroom was not stocked - even at the beginning of the tour. And we were seated towards the back of the bus, where the air conditioning had a distinct smell of exhaust, which probably contributed to a headache later in the day. Since I assume that the bus used varies from tour to tour, this should not prevent anyone from taking the tour - but it is a problem about which On Location Tours should be aware. Also, it should be noted that not only is a stop made at an adults-only location, but many of the video clips shown on the bus contain language that is inappropriate for children, so I would not recommend that your children accompany you on this tour. Anyone who is a fan of the show will greatly enjoy this tour. Just one helpful hint: brush up on your Sopranos knowledge/trivia as the guide likes to quiz the tourists - and it's more fun when people know the answers! | ||||||

| This tour was highly rated, but I found it to be less-than-expected because the movies and shows were somewhat outdated, and the only thing we really got to see were the outside views of buildings - too much time was spent looking at the Cosby house, considering this is a very old sitcom. I would also put different snacks on the tour - not rice pudding and stale cookies. Thanks to our tour guide - he was excellent and made it fun despite the rain! | ||||||

| I highly recommand this tour to all SATC lovers. It was very fun and we even got a chance to various hot spots, including Steve and Adians bar. Well worth the money, treats, and extra information. I believe everyone on the trip was having a great time. | ||||||
