I've probably seen 2 SITC's, but my daughter has seen them all. I knew she'd love it and thought it might be fun for her. I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the tour! Our guide did a great job and made the experience fun, interesting and entertaining, even for those of us SITC novices. All her friends were jealous and I scored major bonus points with my daughter. The funniest part of the day for me was after our guide told us that we'd be visiting the sex shop seen on the show and my daughter turned to me and said, "MOm, this is taking our relationship to a whole new level!" I'd defitnielty recommend the tour.

I liked the fact that the tour took us into Greenwich Village, Tribeca, Soho and basically out of the Broadway/Time Square district, otherwise, I normally wouldn't have visited those areas. It really did give me a great feel for New York City. I also thought the DVD clips were a great touch. Roseanne, the guide, is extremely knowledgeable on both the history of New York City and the entertainment industry. Can't wait to do it again!

The tour mostly consists of driving around and seeing sites out the window where scenes had been filmed and then watching the scene on the bus video screens. I think that this would be a lot more fun going with a group of women who were in a celebratory mood. The tour guide was very good and interesting. The best part about the tour was just driving around areas of Manhattan that, as a tourist, I hadn't really spent much time in, like the Meat Packing District. You do get the opportunity to get off the bus a few times. Once to stand quietly in line to wait your turn to have your picture taken on the steps of the apartment that played Carrie's apartment. A very nice neighborhood with real people living in it that probably tire of tourists. Another opportunity to browse in the "Pleasure Chest" store, but shop quickly if you want to buy something, that was a short stop. A third opportunity to have a cosmo in the bar that played Aiden and Steve's place. Eat lunch before you go or bring it with you, there isn't really any opportunity/time to get lunch along the way.

We enjoyed the tour, but wished that we could have seen the Bevedere? castle and the Lake which were shown in so many movies. Perhaps there was another tour of the North side of the Park that we could have booked???
Terrible Sex and the City Hotspots

Our group of 15 women, were anxiously awaiting this tour for over 2 weeks. We arrived on time and boarded the bus, then we were told that we were waiting on the tour guide to show up. After sitting on the bus for over 1/2 hour, we decided not to waste our time any longer. All we were continously told was that they were working on getting a guide there, no time frame was provided. It took numerous phone calls to the tour company (not Zerve, whom we ordered the tickets through) to have them give us a refund. I was my understanding that this is a reputable tour company but our experience was terrible and very disappointing. We were refunded and offered a gift certificat for another tour, but our weekend in NY was planned out.

At first we thought we'd just let our daughters (18 and 20) take the tour and we'd meet up with them later, as we really don't know much about the show. After reading some of the reviews of the tour we decided to buy tickets as well. We were glad that we all stayed together for the day, and really did enjoy the tour! The tour guide was excellent and we got to see alot of the city that we would not have seen on our own. The price was right, the cupcakes are a great little treat, and we all enjoyed ourselves.

This was a wonderful tour and we enjoyed it very much. The tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable. Her enthusiasm for TV shows and movies that showcase NY was contagous. Enjoyed the stops and the opportunity to get off the bus and see the areas up close. Would definitely recommend this tour to my friends.

I took this tour after a business trip to New York. (I come to NYC several times a year and have seen the major sights). Since I usually stay in mid-town - this provided a good glimpse into the downtown parts of NYC (we did not go uptown). This would be a good tour for those who love TV shows and movies (as the name suggests) particualry Friends, Cosby, Ghostbusters. I found it the right mix of riding around on the bus and short walks to some of the sights. The guide was excellent as well - personable and funny. I did the the tour was a little expensive (particularly if you are a group or family) and was a little put off by the "gratuity envelope" delivered at the end of the tour.

Walk, shop and drink Cosmos like the Ladies Sex and the City Hotspots

Fun afternoon seeing Manhattan and feeling like you are apart of the Sex and the City show. It was lots of fun to see where different scenes were filmed, and to walk the streets the ladies walked and shop in the shops the ladies shopped. It would have been nice to have a list of addresses for the different places pointed out on the tour as there was a lot of information and many shops and resturants given. And it was difficult to remember streets and addresses. The Cosmo at ONeil's (aka Scout) is a minature version of what is served through out the rest of Manhattan.... You can get a great Cosmo most any where in the City for $12.00-$20.00 filled to the top of a martini glass twice the size as served at O Neil's (aka Scout) for the $8.00 tour charge... Save your money and go to 11 Madison -- $12.00 in a really big Martini glass! You can have the bar keep at ONeil's make a Flirtini for the $8.00 instead... they are really good, especially on a hot day. The tour guide, Natalie was wonderful, new Sex and the City well. She was full of great tips and very funny. Overall the afternoon was well spent touring: Sex and the City.

It was great! Three hours of driving around visiting lots and lots of the sites where the girls ate, drank, partied, met boyfriends, dumped boyfriends, lived and worked. We had our photos taken on Carrie's stoop, ate cupcakes from Magnolia bakery, stopped in a bar for Cosmopolitans and visited the shop where Charlotte bought her rabbit (still the same price:)......AND.......saw our first celebrity!!! Liv Tyler. We were outside the bus walking around the West Village where many of the sites are located. Others on the bus saw Lucy Lui. I would advise you to sit on the right side if possible. We were on the left and it seemed to us that most of the locations pointed out to us were on the right. Our tour guide, Natasha, was fun and very enthusiastic. There are TV monitors throughout the bus and they show you clips of the scenes mentioned on the tour. Even if you aren't a big fan of the show, the tour, especially through the West Village, is very informative.

Emily was really entertaining and informative. It's a good thing you guys make sure people know it's not for kids. The people I was traveling with (including myself) had never been to a sex toy shop. What a fun environment in which to experience this for the first time!
