AMAZING New York TV and Movie Sites

i thought that the tour provided a really solid base to start our vacation in New York City. Being intereseted in many of the tv series that had locations within New York, it was really helpful to get a guided tour of the city to start our trip. i would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is first entering the city. i found our guide Gary to be really energetic and very nice. he did an amazing job. i loved it and would do it again, and would definitly suggest taking this tour to my friends. thanks alot!

the lasst stop near the street market may be a bad idea, group got separated and didn't know where to meet..other than that the tour is fun and interesting!

this tour is a good deal. There were many we didn't know/ hadn't seen. The movie clips helped- we have a list of movies that we want to see now! We thought there would be more on TV shows. The tour guide was great, and we learned a lot about movie production and the biz in NYC. He was very knowledgeable, and was upbeat and friendly. The last stop was for older movies-none that I had seen. Would have liked to drive around/ through Central Park to see more of the scenes filmed there, especially with newer releases ike Night at the Museum, Madagascar, The Producers, etc.

Our family did the combo NBC Studio tour plus the New York Movies and TV sites tour. We really enjoyed both. The tour guides were excellent. They were informed, positive and fun. The NBC studios are housed in a beautiful historical building and it was great to visit the SNL site and Conan O'Brien's studio. The movie and TV sites tour really helped put NYC in perspective. Since being on the tour we have enjoyed watching programs and films made in New York and being able to identify specific locations. We would definitely recommend this tour.

While the tour had some interesting parts, some of the "locations" we went to see were less than thrilling. The apartments, Steve's bar, the cafe, the bakery, those were some decent locations. But though Banana Republic and Tiffany's were used in SATC, people who come from out of town don't want to see stores that they can see in their own suburban area, even if Carrie did once buy a shirt there for her boyfriend in season 1. I also think that the single file line to view Carrie's apartment stoop is demeaning. I think there is another way to organize the group and keep them quiet w/o treating them like they're in kindergarten.

I enjoyed the tour very much!!! It could have been better if we stopped at more things but that would have made the tour very long. Definitly recommended though.

Four of my girlfriends visited from Boston for the weekend and this was the highlight of the weekend! We had looked forward to it and were very pleased with our experience. The tour covers a good portion of the city in a few hours and provides additional information about the areas visitied. It was nice to have a combination of sight seeing along with corresponding SATC clips on the bus's TVs. The stops were fun and Carrie's neighborhood is a beautiful area. The cupcakes were a delicious treat, and next time I will definitely enjoy a cosmo! Our sexpert (tour guide) was bright and cheery with just the right amount of SATC humor. She was also more than eager to accomodate everyone by being a photographer at each location.

My partner, myself, and a friend recently had the opportunity to take the Sex and the City Bus Tour. Wow! The tour guide was very well educated about the show and the city. Being from NYC, it was fun to see in person all the local hotspots the procucers incorportated into the show. The tour was well organized. Each time a few sites were visited, the respective clips would be shown directly after. The cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery was definately a nice added touch as well! I highly recommend this tour to all Sex and the CIty fans, but also to anyone who wants to explore the city in a nontraditional way.

We got to meet vito at the start of the tour (bring extra cash to buy his book and a signed cast photo) and eat real cannoli. Tour was informative, the guide provide a lot of trivia and had lots of prizes to give away. You cant take photos in the bada bing which is disapointing. The only thing i would have liked is to watch the clips from the show soon after seeing the site, or just before instead of at the end.

you dont have to be a serious fan to do this tour it's a really great day out and the guide himself has been on the soprano's so you get real inside stories,he know's everything that went on behind the scenes.he's a great guy and a tour i really reccomend you do,i promise you will love it i went with my girlfriend and even though she's not a big a fan as i am she loved it.enjoy.ian from england.
