A great way to see NYC and have some fun to boot Sex and the City Hotspots

I was visiting my son in NYC, who accompanied me on the tour, and enjoyed it as well. The Magnolia cupcakes were to die for! Luckily, due to my knowledge of the show, I won an additional two cupcakes for answering the trivia questions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is a fan of the show.

We had a wonderful time on the tour. Our group consisted of 6 people from 19 to 75 years of age and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it - even the ones who aren't into TV and movies. The tour guide, Jessica, was great - very knowledgeable and accommodating and organized! The tour gave us an overview of some areas in NYC that we wouldn't have probably seen otherwise. The clips of the shows helped to connect the sites and there were a variety of activities. Time went quickly - great idea to have us get out and walk around. Ellen's Stardust Diner where we met is a fun place to get a bite to eat!

Sex and the City tour was well organised and entertaining. We travelled the length of Manhattan whilst the chatty tour guide kept everybody's spirits high with little insider tit bits of information about the show and the actors who play the characters, plus silly games and she even sang us a song! Actual sites that we saw were complimented with little snippets from episodes which were very amusing and interesting to compare to reality. Made four stops on the tour including Carrie's stoop for photos; cupcakes from Magnolias (actually Buttercup sister bakery but same recipe!); the "pleasure chest" wher Charlotte discovered the rabbit (especially fun!) and a stop at Aidan's bar 'Scout' for Cosmo's at a bargain $8 each. Some of the sites we saw were a bit less well known which was interesting but then there was also the classics including seeing Jimmy Choos and Tiffany's on Fifth Avenue. Tour lasted 3.5 hours and was well worth it. Tip: arrive early to get a god place no the bus, especially if you want to sit together with friends!

With the exception of a few things (Friends house, Cosby house, Empire Diner) I found this tour to be a total waste of three of my precious hours in the city. DO NOT do this tour!!

This was a really fun way to spend part of my B-day trip to NYC. I was with sisters and MOM. If you are in the city for several days, do the tour at the beginning so that you can take advantage of the recomendations (something I did not do). This is a good way to see the city and the facts are really fun. Also, a great tour guide really made it for us.

The tour was very good but we couldn't see out of the bus for the first ten minutes of the tour as the bus was so steamed up. Then the middle tv screen kept not working. few bus technical faults but our guide was very good and tried his best. i think it would have been an excellent tour without the technical faults.

The TV and Movie location tour was a realhighlight of our holiday in New York. The guide - Brian - was superb with a wonderful sense of humour. He needed all his sense of humour on theday as the weather was awful and there were major problems with the coach - air conditioning and video monitors not working. He rose above all adversities with aplomb. A wonderful time was had by all.

Unfortunately for us the weather was shocking, pouring nearly all day. The air conditioning in the bus was not working properly fogging up the windows making if vitually impossible to see. Eventually the airconditioning kicked in, but then one of the monitors for the film clips wasn't working properly either making it very dificult to watch. Because of the weather we didn't make as many stops as usually and I also felt that if they had been able to supply $1 ponchos it may have made the tour more pleasant. The tour guide did a very good job against all odds.

I fund the tour to be both informative and good fun. Our guide Roseanne was extremely knowledgable and entusiastice about the film industry and her great personality and made the whole trip both interesting and fun. The cookie was an unexpected bonus!

The tour was 3 1/2 hr....we sang , watched clips from the locations we were seeing & we had 5 stops....Paris Hilton was filming for her latest release & we saw that .... Rice to Riches Restuarant was very different & we saw the Sex & the City episode from it.....I'll never watch a movie or commercial the same again.....Highly recommend......Our tour guide was a hoot.......an rising actress herself......I'd like to see the other tours also sometime.....We saw house fronts from NY that were filmed in stages in Ca & the background didn't match what you would see or hear in NY....But if you aren't from NY or hadn't taken a tour , how would you know? Movie Magic........Incredible....

I would definitely recommend you sit on the left hand side of the bus. They were very prompt and the stops were great, but brief. Not only is it a great overview of the show for those who love it, it also introduces the city and all of the great neighbourhoods. I would definitely go again.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the show and the city. I had a good time, but my husband and my Mom weren't very interested. We thought it would be a general tour of New York City as well, since it was advertised that way. I would have preferred a regular guided tour than the trivia-style questions asked throughout the tour. The quality of the video on the bus was pretty bad. The tracking was off and there were lines running thoughout the video for the whole tour. The tour guide tried to fix it once, and it only got worse. It was great to see all of the locations the show was shot in, and I liked the way they timed it so we saw clips of the show filmed at the location shortly before or after we saw the actual location. The cupcakes were great, and it was fun to have a cosmopolitan at "Scout." I was glad we got to take a picture on Carrie's stoop. I would recommend it for fans of the show.

I really enjoyed this tour. I did it on my first day and it was a great way to start my trip. It was really good how after we saw one of the locations we could then see a clip to jog our memory of the episode. I especially liked the time spent in the west village, the stop for cupcakes and carrie's steps and the extra time to walk around. There arent really any tourist attractions in this area and because I was only in NY for a few days I wouldnt have seen this area otherwise, and it is my favourite, I want to like in the west village!
