Sopranos Tour/Bada Bing Sopranos Sites

Although we were off to a slow start (35 minutes late, ) the Sopranos tour was a barrage of information. I consider myself a huge Sopranos fan and I still learned more on the tour than the entire six seasons of the show because of our tour guide Mark. He was the perfect tour guide for this tour. It was pretty cool to walk around and see where the cast of the Sopranos tape and hang out on the show. If you are a big fan (or even a so-so fan), I would highly recommend this tour. By the way I took 60 pictures and the cannolis were the best I ever had.

I had a great time on the tour and got to see New York like never before, even though I live here! It was fun to explore the the new york that Carrie lived in on the show and after going on the tour all I wanted to do was go shoe shopping! (And watch more SATC!) I especially liked all the behind the scenes info our guide provided us with that you wouldn't know if you only watched the show. Stacy was a great guide and she did an excecllent job of recovering for some of the detours our bus had to make due to a crazy labor day parade. I would definitely reccomend this if you are a fan of the show or the city.

If you have more than a passing interest in the Sopranos then I would thoroughly recommend this tour. The tour guide was excellent; he got everyone involved and provided loads of facts, anecdotes etc. You didn't feel like he was just going through the motions like on some tours. He obviously loves the show. Was great to see some of the locations, especially the Bada Bing!

Our tour guide, Marc Baron, was full of a lot of information that our family was unaware of. However, the tour was a half hour late starting because the sound on the television didn't work. The bus driver, Kevin, and tour guide, Marc Baron, tried to get the television to work without any success. They telephoned the office to say that they were trying to get another bus to replace the bus that we were already on, which was sitting on the side of the street, one half block from where we left. Finally, my neice asked if the television was really that important and suggested that we take the tour without use of the televsion. After a vote was taken of the guests on the bus, it was decided to continue the tour without the television. Who knows how long we would have sat there waiting for another bus. Marc Baron said that we would somehow be reimbursed from the company by possibly taking another tour free of charge. As of today, we haven't heard anything regarding his suggestion. Please be advised that about half way through the tour the bus driver was able to get the sound working on the television. The fresh cannolis from Lyndhurst Pastry Shop were out of this world. Perhaps people would have liked to have gotten off the bus to purchase them. At Pizzaland we understand that people ask them to fed-ex them a pizza. Would it have been possible to also stop there to have a taste of the pizza. When we stopped at Satin Dolls, aka Bada Bing Club, we were advised that we would be going through the back door and that there would be a pool table on the left side when we entered the club with souvenirs available for anyone wishing to purchase any. I bought a shot glass and was charged $10.00. However, when my husband and I went to leave the club, we noticed a showcase at the front entrance and shot glasses were marked $6.00. Our tour guide informed us that we weren't being charged an admission charge to enter the club since we were on the tour, but in a way he did charge us an admission charge by overcharging us and how many other people for souvenirs that they bought.

I found this tour to be great fun...Mark, the tour guide, does a great job of bringing to life the highlights of the Sopranos activities in the New Jersey area...the guests on the tour are encouraged to get involved with trivia questions about the show, and gifts are even given away as prizes for who gets them right. I'ts a real buzz being right there where some of the scenes from the show have been filmed...best of all you get to have a beer at the Bada-Bing!...Great fun! Thoroughly enjoyable.

Our tour guide Stacy was fun, energetic and knowledgeable. Great way to see the City, some show locations and to get the scoop on some hots spots. A bit pricey but worth it if you're not a NY'er and want a good tour.

We loved Stacey - she did a great job of (trying) to get our rather calm group fired up, and her peppy-ness really did help make the tour great. There were some detours caused by unforeseen circumstances (a parade on 5th Ave, construction on W. Broadway), but she told us what we were missing on those streets, and did a great job of weathering the situation. She seemed like someone my friends & I would be friends with, which made the tour all that more enjoyable. We loved that we overheard her on her cell phone before the tour saying "This parade is nothing buy obnoxious!" True. and hillarious. :) My only suggestion for the tour: Play the clips before you get to the destination... It was hard to know what we were looking for exactly, and I would have liked to have a memory jogger before we got there. Overall - great job - I would recommend to anyone going to NYC!!

I really enjoyed the tour, especially because as a local who is not too familiar with the park, I was able to see places, like the "mall" for example, which I have not seen before. The historic information was very well tied into each site, and the movie locations were perfect because they incorporated many different movies and actors. It was interesting to see which buildings certain celebrities live in, like Jerry Seinfeld and Madonna, and I think the tour duration was perfect. My group had a great time, especially because it was a beautiful day out, and the tour went quickly--it did not drag on or anything. Our tour guide was very pleasant, and did a wonderful job in explaining everything to us, and handling the large group. I recommend this tour to anyone, and am interested in the agency for the future. Thank you!

Worth the money New York TV and Movie Sites

This tour was worth what it costs given that doing anything in NYC is extremely expensive. Our tour guide, Brian, was funny and personable. He made sure to get to know our small group and interact with us throughout. The only drawback was the multiple street closing and horrendous amounts of Saturday traffic. Because this is a regular occurance in NYC, I would expect that the tour bus would be familiar with other routes/sites in the city. We were unable to see some attractions on the tour and spent a lot of downtime in the bus sitting in traffic. I still recommend this tour to all TV and movie buffs.

Brian took us through the gridlock with lots of fun and laughter! he gave us a lot of insight, NYC secrets and played us t.v. clips of sights we saw. He was a great guide and terrible singer! loved the tour, and I recomend it to anyone who wants to see the best of t.v. NYC in a day

I was disappointed in the amount of stops on the tour. I thought we would have stopped at more of the clubs or shoe stores or other locations. I felt like the majority of our time was spent on the bus watching clips. II didn’t necessarily have to sit on the bus to watch clips of the show since I have the DVD and have already watched every episode ever filmed when the show was on HBO. I would have liked more out of the tour.

Lou our tour guide was great. She knew so much about the city. We had a fabulous time, and it was a fabulous bachlorette party activity!! We loved seeing Carrie's apartment, and would have loved to have scene some of the others' as well.
