Better Than I Thought! Sex and the City Hotspots

I was supposed to be in New York with my girlfriend, but she couldn't make the trip. She and I had watched the show/series, never missing an episode. Well, I decided that I would go on the tour by myself and it was awesome. I was on the phone (long distance) with her the entire tour, providing play by play of each site and stop. It was fun, it was enjoyable, and it gives me a reason to get back to New York with my girlfriend and do it all again.

We thorougly enjoyed this tour more than most of them. It was very informative and fun. we really liked our tour guide, we enjoyed our "friends" black and white cookies, the ability to stop at places and take pictures, the rice pudding and the clips of all of the films shown in NYC..... I will recommend this tour to others.

Mark (our tour guide) not only was interesting and knowledgeable on The Sopranos, he was also an actor who has been on the show several times. The trivia game made the trip more interesting as well as helping pass the time. The 4 hours went by quick! I would recommend this tour to anyone, even you are NOT a fan of the show!!

I abolutely loved the tour. Our tour guide Kimberley was very enthusasiastic and extremely knowledgeable on movies and TV. Her insights and knowledge made the tour fun, interesting and it was not only what I expected but much more. I will highly recommend the tour to friends visiting New York. ps the cookies and the programme were a very nice touch, and much appreciated.

This was, without exaggeration, the best tour I have ever taken (and I've taken a lot of tours - some of which turned out to be fairly miserable!). My reasons for feeling this way: 1) It was well produced - showing the clips from the show just before we got to that location was great - I was especially impressed how our guide "Mame" (more on her wonderful job later!) and our bus driver coordinated with each other in the heavy traffic. Nice teamwork, guys! 2) the juicy little "tidbits" about the show, the city, and the actresses made it so much fun! 3) the right stops at the right places at the right time, 4) our guide, "Mame", couldn't have done a better job! What a treasure you have in her! THANKS for a great afternoon in NYC. Susan Foster Ohio P.S. The cupcake was a wonderful, yummy touch. :-)))))))))))
A great choice for families with teens New York TV and Movie Sites

I knew I wouldn't be able to interest my two teens in a regular history- or landmarks-based tour of the city (and I wouldn't be thrilled myself, honestly speaking)...but I wanted some way we could see and experience the flavors of the neighborhoods. A tour connecting the great sections of NYC with TV shows and movies was just the ticket. My son is a Seinfeld and Friends fan, and he was kept interested by all the sites and the trivia questions. Our tour guide was wonderful -- not too corny for the teens! ;-) The two food-related stops were a great idea, since the timing was midday. The clips were a good connection/reminder for us! Suggestions: Eliminate one or two of the stops or spread them out better. The frequent getting up and putting on coats in the second half of the tour got a little tiresome. Needs some more variety of connections with TV shows and movies. We seemed to be discussing the same 10 TV shows/movies. (Is there a permission problem?) Wikipedia has a good list.

The tour was great! Did not realize how many movies were filmed in NY over the years. Having the film clips along the tour was nice so you can say, " Oh yea...I remember that scene". I would recommend it for all movie and TV fans.

A freind of mine had already did the tour and highly recomended it .I am a big sopranos fan and i thought the tour was great .The tour guide was very informative and made the tour entertaining and amusing this guy is perfect for this tour and had even starred in the show himself and personaly new the actors in the show .My wife is not a fan and has never watched the show and only went because i dragged her along and even she enjoyed the lighthearted way the tour was conducted.It was amazing to see all the locations id only saw previously on TV .Bada Bings was the best and still find it hard to believe when i watch it now that i sat at the same bar as Tony and the guys do and had a couple of beers ,pure class.

Had a great time and learned so many details about the filming of the Soprano's and the stars. Tour guide was well-informed and interesting. A really fun afternoon. Should be a must see for anyone who watches the HBO series.

We truly enjoyed our tour with Brian who was a highlight himself. We were a group including a family of 4 originally from NY which transplanted to Florida 10 years ago and one of my daughter's teenage friends. Learned a lot despite being knowledgeable about NY. Very interesting to see how different many of the exterior shots look in person compared to on film (makes the buildings look at least 10 pounds fatter). Highly recommend the tour for any TV/Movie fans including native NYers. Especially enjoyed the delicious stop at Rice to Riches (Hitch) where sampled (and bought) multiple flavored rice puddings.

Can't remember the name of our guide, he is an actor and really had so many tidbits to add when he was showing us around. Would recommend to Jaded New Yorkers like myself. I learned alot about my own city.
