A fairly good tour New York TV and Movie Sites

It was neat to see some of the places in NYC that appear on television and in movies, but a lot of the sites on the tour are from older movies...many of which I had never heard of or seen. There were, however, a few sites from more recent movies and TV shows that I recognized. It was really nice that we got out of the bus at certain areas and walked around and were able to see some of the places up close, but it was disappointing while riding on the bus because many of the sites were on the opposite side of the bus from where my goup was sitting and we were unable to get any pictures either because we couldn't see from our side of the bus or because the bus passed by too quickly and the shots we took with our camera were blurry. It was an interesting tour and I would recommend it for most people, but don't plan on being able to get pictures of all of the locations and I wouldn't necessarily recommend this particular tour for a younger generation because they might not know many of the TV shows or movies.

from the effervescent tour guide to the clean bus to the wonderful tour of the city as seen through the eyes of my favorite fictional characters, the tour was enjoyable and fun! i would recommend it to any fan of the show!!!

first, it was very easy to find the pickup location, and our guide was energetic, fun and well informed. its a great opportunity to also visit other parts of the city, and to actually see where some of the scenes were filmed is like being on the show- you'll also learn about some of the behind the scenes info about the show/movie. While you are on the bus you get to drive by each location, and most locations have a clip from the show you watch as well, so you can see where they were standing and remember which episode each location was from. The 3 and a half hours does go by pretty quickly, and i was surprised by that, and you also get to leave the bus about 4 times to check out stores/bars which is an added extra. You are also given time to shop, nad check out all the boutiques in the area. The only things I wish were different are that in one location you are each given a magnolia cupcake, which carrie had on the show, but are forced to eat it before you get back on the bus- no able to even just wrap it and take it with you- i do understand that it can be messy for the bus owners if people arent careful, but if the tour is adults only no one should be making messes in the first place. The other thing i did not like was with visiting Carries stoop- you are not able to stand on it, near it, or even TAKE PICTURES OF IT !! It is someone's home, and that can be a little tiring to them, having people continuously walk by and want to take pictures of the front of your house, but for people who have traveled from essentially, all over the world to have a look at how and where they filmed one of their favorite shows, its kind of a let-down to realize that you cant even have a picture of yourself standing near the stoop as a memento- *they dont tell you that when you buy the tickets- or even until you are going to the stop on the tour to see her home-- but i think its nice to give people a heads up-- but besides that it was fun and i look forward to taking more tours in the future.

I think that the tour would be more interesting if the order would be changed. So that at the first the scene in the question would be shown and then people would visit in the filming place. Now we saw the scenes at the end of the tour. Bada bing was closed in our tour. It was quite a disappointment and should be informed beforehand. I think that tere would be more places to visit and not so much just sitting in the bus and looking the places throught window.

I live in the Bronx and took a group of friends visiting from Canada. This tour was everything we were hoping for. Our guide was interesting knowledgble, accommodating and fun. We loved seeing the clips on the TVs to remind us of the scenes we were seeing. The Cosmos were fab and the best part was getting to see Carries stoop and eat cupcakes. An all round amazing tour which I will be taking all my friends on when they come to visit me here in NYC.

This tour was great, seeing the places where Carrie and the girls were brought to life was a great was to spend a few hours. Our guide was so lovely, she really made the tour interesting and fun. Cup cakes and cosmo's were brilliant additions!

I would recommend the Sex & the city tour, even my husband who I dragged along with me enjoyed the tour as well (he was aware of the show and has seen a few episodes before).

I did not know what to expect, but it was really fun and exciting. It was really cool to see all the spot in NYC where events from the show actually were filmed. The guide was very informative and fun.

I had a blast at all the sites we saw and the clips of Sex & the City on the bus. Our stops were the most fun they offered a lot to see! I would go again on this tour.

It was very interesting to see the different locations where SATC was filmed. I was baffled by how small some of the buildings looked in real life versus in the show. It looked much bigger on tv! Overall it was a very fun tour. The bus was very comfortable and equipped with a washroom. I did find it hard to take pictures of the different hot spots due to being at the very back of the bus. It was especially difficult to catch pictures if the hot spot was on the other side of the bus but I guess if I really wanted to I could have stood up to grab the picture. Our guide was very bubbly and energetic and was very kind about helping people grab pictures!

This was a great tour. Opportunity for food, photos and fabulous cocktails. I would highly recommend it for a group of friends. Tour guide was excellent, she really knew her stuff.
