RUDE BUS DRIVER/CRAZY WOMAN Sex and the City Hotspots

My name is Nando Rodriguez and for my Birthday my friends thought it would be a nice surprise and purchased 2 tickets for the Sex and the City Tour. I must admit I was excited about it since I had just purchased a new digital camera! I went not knowing what to expect, so I kept an open mind. The guide was great! Patty had so much knowledge and was bubbly and charming. She had trivia, fun facts, and her upbeat manner was soon disrupted. Our bus driver was very rude and hostile. Her ability to drive the bus was in question when she couldn't make certian turns and took several detours. At one point she got caught in a tight squeeze on a narrow street with the bus and many people who were parked along the road came out of restaurants and shops to make sure she didn't hit their cars. She became so hostile and started yelling at the people on the street to mind their business. The tour was actually interupted because the bus driver took a personal call where she complained about the tour and how "they can take this job." She was very loud and so abbrasive, that the entire group began to feel the hostility and tension and the tour wasn't really all that great after that. She was late picking us up from several locations and had a bad attitude about it when questioned. The tour guide had to actually phone someone to find out where she was at one point. This made the bus driver even more hostile!! It's sad that my friends spent so much money on 2 tickets for this 3 hour tour and I spent it in such a hostile environment with such a rude person. I'm in Human Resources at my company and we actually were considering doing a company tour (approximatley 150 people) as an incentive to the employees. I don't think this will be happening. If you want something silly to do and NOT expect a lot, this is a fun tour. HOWEVER, for the price you don't see a hell of a lot. And the choices of places to stop are NOT the big places in the show (aside from Carrie's doorstoop) I mean, a muffin shop that is in ONE shot and not even mentioned by name? A store that they shopped in once and again not mentioned by name? Really there is nothing here. That all said, our tour guide was funny, bright and great in the face of crisis which included our bus not showing up for a loooooonnnnnggggg time and again being parked in the wrong spot in another. And you couldn't spring for the Cosmos? For half the price it would be great. For the price, not worth it.

our group leader was so cute and seemed to know so many facts about all the sex in the city girls. it would have been a better experience if the bus driver had been nicer and the bus was not in great repair. i was seated next to the bathroom and the door would not stay closed and it was unpleasant due to the smell. i was constantly slamming the door or holding it shut. i would say the driver was downright rude to the passangers and our tour guide and was late picking us up at our stop in soho i also recommend not seating people in the last row because they are unable to see anything on the right and we were not allowed to move seats.

A must for all Sex and the City enthusiasts! The video clips made the places much more relevant for those of us without photographic memories. Our tour guide was energetic and fun. Of course, taking pictures on Carrie's stoop was the highlight for me and my friend.

The tour is a great idea, but you really have to be an AVID fan of the show. While I watch it religiously, I did not remember the details discussed on the tour. Not being able to see the Soprano house was a big disappointment.

My boyfriend is a huge Sopranos fan but I'm not. This was a gift for him that I knew he'd always remember. The tour was very punctual, the tour-guide was very good at explaining in detail the spot we were either looking at or standing in front of, and a lot of fun trying to answer the trivia questions he had for us. Going to Bada Bings was definitely an interesting part... I think this tour is definitely worth going on, even if you aren't a Sopranos fan like me. I still enjoyed it.

Knowledge of Sopranos ranged from me having watched only one episode, to husband watching all seasons on DVD to daughter watching on TV every week. I enjoyed the tour very much from the standpoint of seeing different locations in New Jersey (we are from South Jersey) and the canolli. My daughter and husband found out they didn't know as much as they thought about the Sopranos. There was a real wiz on our trip who knew just about everything. Tour guide was excellent and very enthusiastic. I would recommend this tour to any Soprano enthusiast.

I believe the activity went very well. It was enjoyable to see different movie sites and buildings. It would have been nice to be able to have lunch at one of the locations. The tour guide was wonderful and knowledgable. Thank you for the tour. It is something I will recommend to others.

This was fun! I would have liked even more tidbits from the show, information about the actresses, on location highlights, etc. but overall it was very enjoyable and interesting. Best to go with a group of friends who also love the show!
