Palmetto Carriage Works Day Tour & Optional Combo

Max our Guide was outstanding, his wonderful knack for giving stories on the historical sites and stops kept us entertained the entire trip. We had wonderful weather despite being in Charleston in January. We got great insight into the history, culture and heritage of this beautiful community. The only disappointment was that we could not take photos from the tour well due to the plastic weather shades on the side of the bus, we appreciated being warm in January but that was the only mixed feelins we had about the experience. Max even gave us his candid reivews of local eateries we passed.We were able to drive through town later and get pictues of the Cathedral and homes we especially enjoyed so it all worked out beautifully for us. We also took advantage of the on and off privalage and had the shuttle drop us off at a local eatery we wanted to try for lunch.

We had a really fun tour of Charleston. The driver was an excellent guide. A couple of times it was hard to hear so a microphone would have been nice for the times when there was a lot of other noise. The carriage was comfortable. The loading dock made it easy for elderly guests to get into the carriage.

We enjoyed our tour through Charleston. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. I booked our tour on-line it was very easy to do and they were ready for us when we got there. From the gentleman at the parking lot , to check-in, to our guide and our Mules Carter & Cash, Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Palmetto Carriage.

We had so much fun thanks to our tour guide, Jodie! She was incredibly funny and gave us so much history on the tour. The whole experience was quite enjoyable!

We really enjoyed it. Very worth the money and time. Guide very friendly and knowledgeable. They have three different tours so I would love to go back and do one of the other ones.

Our carriage tour with Buck and Thomas & George (the mules) was the hightlight of our trip to Charleston!!! Buck was so entertaining and informative. He had our attention the entire ride. Without a doubt we will definitely book this tour again!!! All the animals appeared to be very well cared for and the drivers definitely showed affection for each one. Super value!!

My husband and I booked a carriage ride since this was our first trip to Charleston. It was well worth the price for the tickets. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. We would definitely recommend it to all our friends!
