despite the rain the carriage ride was worth the time and money

To begin with, parking was easy and convenient. Our tour came with 4 hours of parking, so it made other nearby activities available without worrying about parking. The attendant was very helpful. The Red Barn was close-by with helpful staff in a great atmosphere where horses, mules and baby goats were there for us to enjoy. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. It gave us an enjoyable way to get a feel for old Charleston. Would love to do it again.

Wish we could have seen what would be widly considered the highlights of charleston. Also, online purchase says time is when you arrive and then you wait 15 or so min. On site we were told that wasn't accurate and we missed our scheduled time. Love that you ave the parking. Loved the tour guide!

My party really enjoyed our carriage tour. Our guide, Sam, was very charming and well informed. A great way to view all the beautiful homes. We will definitely do this again!

Everything was great

Everyone at Palmetto was very nice and the tour guides are very knowledgeable about the city. This is our 2nd time with Palmetto and would highly recommend them.

Wonderful fun - even in the rain and cold wind in February. I had checked the 10 day and 5 day forecasts, and it looked like we would have a partly cloudy day in the high 50's. Well, we were surprised! But even getting a little wet and chilled (they provide blankets - and there is a roof over carriage), it was a good outing for friends and family that I will definitely do again - in the Spring or Summer! Our tour guide was wonderful, standing in the rain, telling us about metal work and the history of houses, and many interesting facts. You will enjoy this activity, rain or shine!

The carriage ride was excellent! It took us throughout the city, gave a great overview of Charleston's history, and the guide/driver was incredibly knowledgeable. Would definitely go again!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Although the city rules don't allow you to know which one of several routes you end up on, Charleston is so filled with history and beautiful architecture, it really doesn't matter. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Charleston!

This was our first trip to Charleston and the first activity of our trip. What a wonderful way to see Charleston! The tour was just wonderful! Was a very comfortable ride both in the carriage and during the tour. Very welcoming and interesting. Nice to get a bit of the flavor and history of Charleston from a tour guide, Myron, who obviously loves this city. I would recommend this tour to anyone going to Charleston and would take the tour again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful tour of your city!
