Palmetto

I would highly recommend the private carriage tour with Palmetto Carriage Works. The carriage was very comfortable and intimate. The other carriages touring the city had 16 people per carriage with little room to move. Our private carriage was just the opposite. I would highly recommend this for anyone's first visit to Charleston.

Had a great time seeing all the wonderful houses. And learning about them. The guide was great.

It was a great experience. The parking was easy. Everything was very organized. We were called for our tour on time. We are a family of six with chilren under 10 and the kids loved it. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and pointed out special things geared for kids. We would love to come back.

Our tour guide "Bones" was wonderful not only was he very knowledgeable about Charleston, while we waited in line he got to know each patron and so we all felt like we know each other before the ride

The one hour carriage tour is a fun and informative way to begin your stay in Charleston. Our driver/tour guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The weather was perfect! It was a lot of fun!!!

Great hour! Our guide was excellent - with a nice touch of humor and information. Would definitely recommend this carriage company to anyone visiting or simply up for a fun tour of Charleston.

The tour was great and I would not change any of it. However, it was hard at times to hear the speaker so perhaps a microphone or some amplification device would help reduce that problem.

Guide was great. Interesting details provided. It's nice to get an overview of the area and figure out where you want to walk back to and explore more. Very well organized ticketing and loading. The barn you leave from is charming while obviously still a functioning barn.

From the two guys who directed us at parking until the end of the tour was excellent. The parking guys placed us close to the street since the lot was gravel. Everyone greeted us as we entered the barn. They knew my first name as it had been radioed by the parking guys. They had a loading dock but still had two guys that picked me up from my chair and put me on the carriage. The ride was beautiful and so informative. Jennie was our awesome guide. When we returned to the barn the guys lifted me out. Everyone was so nice and assured me they this. No big deal. It was one of the best experiences ever in Charleston. We will go back next trip. Thanks!!

Well organized from beginning to end. Online reservations were seamless. Customer service and attention were excellent. Our driver, Ryan, was a great host and gave us a fine introduction to the history of the city, its architecture and key figures.

We will never book ahead thru Zerve for a Charleston carriage ride - their policy does state that there are NO refunds, unless by the company. Booked for 2 senior adults, but the Ohio visitor's husband was emergently admitted to Ohio hospital with heart condition, so the Ohio person could not fly in for the week.....hence, I am $45 lighter on my credit card because of Zerve's "no refund" policy, even for a critical health, hospital admission. We will try this again in the next few months, but will purchase our tickets in Charleston on the day of the event.

Our Guide, Jenny, was extremely informed and quite articulate throughout our tour. There didn't seem to be any item on the tour that she didn't have a good knowledge of. The tour kept our interest peaked throughout the approximate hour long ride. Would recommend Palmetto Carriage Tours any day.

We thorougly enjoyed our tour lead by Kem. I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Charleston.
