We really enjoyed it. Very worth the money and time. Guide very friendly and knowledgeable. They have three different tours so I would love to go back and do one of the other ones.

Our carriage tour with Buck and Thomas & George (the mules) was the hightlight of our trip to Charleston!!! Buck was so entertaining and informative. He had our attention the entire ride. Without a doubt we will definitely book this tour again!!! All the animals appeared to be very well cared for and the drivers definitely showed affection for each one. Super value!!

My husband and I booked a carriage ride since this was our first trip to Charleston. It was well worth the price for the tickets. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. We would definitely recommend it to all our friends!

Ordering our tickets online & in advance through Zerve helped so much!! From the minute we drove into the Palmetto Carriage parking lot until we left, all our needs were very well taken care of. My Mom, who is 92 & almost blind got to go on the carriage ride for the first time! It was very special to both of us. I had commented about her age & vision when I ordered the tickets through Zerve & when we arrived it was apparent that the carriage co. knew our situation. They helped Mom get on the carriage via their "loading dock" (there's no way she could have climbed up steps) and seated her in the front row so she could see & hear better. They also allowed us to take my little Yorkie on the ride at no additional charge since she sat in my lap. Our tour guide, Malcom, grew up in the area & was a wealth of information! He answered all the questions everyone had and gave great information & stories. After the tour we still had enough time in the parking lot that we could take our little dog down to (dog friendly) Bubba Gump's and have a nice snack before we headed back to the beach. I can't say enough about what a great experience this was. I recommend the Palmetto Carriage Co. (and advance tickets through Zerve) 100%!!! Enjoy!!!

A great way to see historic Charleston. Our driver was extremely knowledgeable and fun! I would highly recommend this company. I'm not sure it would be of interest to young children under 10.

Worth the cost of tour, however the guide was farely new to Charleston (2 years) so have now way of knowing how accurate her facts were. Entertaining and I am hoping her infromation was accurate.

Second time around. Just a wonderful way to get a taste of what you want to do in Charleston.

I took out of town family on this tour when they came to visit. They really enjoyed it and it was a great way to introduce them to my new home!

We had a great time slowly touring parts of Charleston I rarely visit. Our guide was superb and entertaining, but not over the top. I wish it had lasted longer than the allotted hour!

We were a group of four: mother, two adult daughters and one partner. Two people lived locally, one was from Washington, D.C. and the other from Mississippi. All four of us enthusiastically enjoyed our carriage tour of Charleston. Our guide was witty and informative about Charleston history and landmarks.

Tour was easy to reserve online. Well organized operation. Tour left on time. Tim, our guide, was pleasant, knowledgeable, funny - kept the tour entertaining. I would recommend Palmetto Carriage Works to anyone visiting Charleston. We plan to take another tour with Palmetto on our next trip to Charleston.

Guide was pleasant and full of facts. I've lived in Charleston for 48 years and still learned things.
