Locating the facily was easy. The team was fast, efficient and friendly. The guide exoertly managed the horses and thoroughly enjoyed explaining the significance and history as we meandered through the streets of this very significant, historical area. Quite FUN!

Carriage ride and harbor boat tour was awesome!

Our carriage tour guide, "Rebel" was terrific, as was Butterfinger our transporter. We toured the French Quarter, the Battery and Rainbow Row. I learned so much about the culture and history of the city. The harbor cruise was great as well. We saw fish and fowl, and the beautiful sights of the harbor. This history and beauty of the area was shared by the captain. Would recommend the tour to anyone!

My husband and I loved the Palmetto Carriage tour. You get to see the historical parts of Charleston and our tour guide was so knowledgable. The mules Cash and Carter were great too!

We truly enjoyed the tour of the battery. Our guide was very knowledgeable and she presented the area's history in a fun and engaging way. I have taken several carriage tours from different vendors in Charleston. This is by far one of the best.

The only downside were the spirited horses who wanted to gallop.

Highlight of our trip!

We had a private carriage ride with our guide, Sam and our horse, Apache. The carriage was beautiful and comfy and the private ride gave us an opportunity to ask whatever we wanted and ask as many questions as we wanted! Sam was an amazing guide: knowlegdable, sweet, and entertaining! The tour was informative and interesting and as a side perk we got to pet and love on Apache as much as we wanted when we got back!!! He was the most loving carriage horse I have ever met! This company takes excellent care of their animals which is very important to me as I do not like to support these types of companies when their horses look skinny and exhausted. I highly recommend this tour as it was the highlight of our trip!!!

Our guide was terrible....name Adam
Thu, Oct 25, 12   1:30 PM ddabney1 Male 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
Adam was more concerned about saying hello to passing guides than attending to providing information to us. He was silent much of the tour and as we passed Rainbow Row, he did not mention it. Very uninformative. Since we had booked the combo tour, we were not able to go on the water due to wind, so we returned to have another carriage tour. We then had a great tour guide, even took the 1 hour ghost tour at 7pm, and the lady was super. There were 6 of us. All of your staff was great.

Very Interesting and Humorous

Jody, our guide, was very knowledgeable and told interesting stories throughout the tour. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The free four-hour parking (because we bought the tickets online) was nice and let us have dinner and walk around afterward. The guy who parked us even guessed who we are (had a list of who to expect) and confirmed by radio our carriage time. Highly recommend.

Zerve process easy, carriage ride informative
Mon, Oct 22, 12   10:00 AM cmaddox Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The carriage ride was informative, however though we were the first couple to check in, we were seated in the last row of the carriage. At times it was very difficult to hear what the tour guide was saying, either due to traffic or location. The guide was very knowledgeable, but the route we took did not help us to learn downtown Charlestown very well. If we were to recommend a carriage ride, we would suggest a private tour.
