Everything was handled efficiently. Ordering the tickets through Zerve was simple and easy to understand. From the time we arrived at their parking lot, The Palmetto Carriage Works staff were very friendly and helpful. The free 4 hour parking was a big plus in buying these tickets online, especially since we were there on Labor Day weekend. The tour was one hour, so this gave us three hours of free parking to explore downtown Charleston after the tour was complete. Our tour was scheduled for 9:30, but when we got there they put us on a earlier tour. Left right on time. Our tour guide was very informative on the history of Charleston and answered any questions we had. No regrets, no problems, great experience. Definitely would buy tickets online again through Zerve and take tours through the Palmetto Carriage Works. Thanks to all for a great day!

My wife and I recently moved to Charleston from New England by way of Charlotte -- we lived in North Carolina for a year. Its hard to be away from the friends and family you've known your whole life; so its nice to be able to get to know the city which is your new home. Our tour guide was amazing, with a great grasp of local history and legend, and was adept at answering our questions. (Being a patriot, as well as something of a history buff, I was surprised to learn that the Gadsden who created the "Don't Tread On Me " flag lived in this very place) I would whole-heartedly recommend this carriage tour

Get your dose of history going thru the narrow streets of Charleston. We were comfortable and entertained the whole tome.

It was a very enjoyable ride throughout Charleston, as they showed us and told us the history of Charleston and its many buildings and homes. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. I would recommend it to anyone!!

We have taken other carriage tours through downtown and have found that Palmetto offers a more comfortable waiting area - which includes a gift shop & snack bar, indoor seating and clean restrooms (as well as access to pet their horses and mules while you wait). Our tour guide was fairly new, but he was well educated on the historical details and quite entertaining. Getting on and off the carriage was extremely efficient and easy as we had an 82 year old female with us and had no trouble. You just can't beat the bonus of FREE four hour parking just a block from the market and other shopping & restaurants. We will definitely use Palmetto again in the future.

We enjoy taking the carriage rides because we learn more about Charleston on each route. Some guides are more talkative than others but all have a humorous spin on history. The extended free parking next door is paramount - it allows us to walk around a little bit before or after the ride.

We had a wonderful time. Driver was very knowledgeable and personable. We took our 51/2 yrs old grandson who loved it. I recommend it for anyone who wants a tour of the city and a review of the history of the area.

I chose Palmetto Carriage Works over the competitors because they offered 4 hours free parking if booked online! Turned out to be a great choice!! Our personal tour guide, Shawn, was very knowledgable and extremely patient with our 3 and 2 year old who occasionally had an outburst here or there!! Definitely worth the money and pleased with the services we received.

Was a great experience our guide was highly entertaining. Recommend this tour along with the harbour tour gives you a good perspective on Charleston History.

Had a great time even though it rained on us some but that didn't slow how well out guide worked. Learned alot about the city and had a great time doing it.
