Our family ( adult children and grandparents) had a wonderful experience. The guide was awesome and quite entertaining. I was worried about my elderly father getting on and off the carriage, but you enter and exit directly from a dock that is the same height. We left about 10:25 and had a 10:15 reservation. The time of day was perfect (not too hot). I would highly recommend this company. |

Perfect tour for the adults and the private carriage was worth the extra. A little long for a 6 year old! Wonderful driver very entertaining and informative. Will do again if we return to Charleston. |

My wife and I took a Palmetto tour on the first day of our honeymoon. Our tour guide was Matthew, and he gave us a few great tips on our days around Charleston. We also got the luck of the draw and were able to tour down Rainbow Row. Definitely, a must see, and we'll definitely be returning to Palmetto for our future tours! |

Zerve was great - Palmetto was not

Purchasing the tickets through Zerve was wonderful! Would do it again. I had given the carriage ride
as a gift to my daughter and daughter-in-law for Mother's Day. None of us had ever been on a carriage
ride and was enthusiastically looking forward to it. The disappointment was in our tour guide. He had a
speech impediment which made it almost impossible to understand what he was saying. Had we not been
on the 2nd row in the carriage we would have never understood what he was saying. I really felt for the
guests on the 3rd and 4th rows....especially since they were mostly seniors. I would be willing to say they
probably did not understand him at all. I feel bad about saying this because I know the gentleman cannot
help his impairment, however, it surprises us that a carriage company would employ someone with this
type disability. I almost asked for a refund or another tour with a different guide. Mary Lynn Britt -
tour taken on May 10, 2011. |

This tour was a wonderful experience. The big red barn was fun to visit and see the animals. Everyone we met at the stable and our guide were all very friendly. The guide gave a lot of interesting information and the carriage went slow enough to take some good pictures. We went early and sat in the front of the carriage, and that worked well. This tour also offers free all day parking for a little more (like $1) than the other tours, so we were able to walk around afterwards, then, come back and enjoy the night life, too. |

In the combined opinion of the four of us, this ride was an excellent way of getting an overview of the historic areas of Charleston. Our guide/driver was quite knowledgable and enthusiastic so we gained a good appreciation of the things/areas we would like to explore on our own later. This is a great way to start a visit. |

I read quite a few reviews while researching companies and Palmetto Carriage got mostly excellent reviews. They were right! My wife and I enjoyed our carriage ride through the streets of Charleston. Guide was very entertanining and informative pointing out quite a few things that I didn't know about Charleston's part in the Civil War. Well worth the $20. Get a coupon on their website to get a few bucks off! You will enjoy your hour-long ride and wish you had at least another hour when it comes to an end! |

The staff was friendly, and the tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The history the guide shared was so complete that I doubted some of the facts...but investigating some of the history proved the guide was 100% correct. My party enjoyed every part of the tour. |

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. I thought your prices were high compared to other vendors. I chose you because of the carriage photos on the internet. |

This is by far one of the best things to do in Charleston. good deal for the money, everyone was friendly from the parking lot till we finished the tour. Charleston is a very, very expensive town to do anything in from food, parking, rooms the yorktown even charges parking even with the ticket price. I do believe you have the best deal in town to learn and enjoy the town.. THANKS |

Enthusiastic guide who only occasionally went on a remote control narrative. The Palmetto group is very well organized, and the location in the barn was charming. You could visit the horses and pet the new foal. The carriage ride was enjoyable; however, it was not the tour route I would have picked for myself. It's unfortunate that you don't have a choice of where the carriage tour will take you. |

Thank You Tom for a great experience and love the history of Charleston and it was as if he stepped out of the history books to the carriage and let us all know his experiences...great ride!!! |
