Our tour guide was interesting and entertaining. She related to adult and children alike and we all thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We learnt so much about the history of the area and the history was re-inforced with interesting stories and anecdotes. Thank you very much for an excellent tour. |

I know a tour depends a lot on the tour guide. I do not know our guides name but she was fabulous. She knew so much history and information, and her stories made it real to all age groups. I asked her how she had learned all the nuances and she replied she did a lot of research reading real documents so what she shared and the storeis whe told would be historically correct. My family and I highly recommend this tour. Go early on Saturday when everyone else is sleeping in so the group is small. |

The pace was pretty slow, so I would have enjoyed a faster pace so that we could have heard more from our very knowledgeable guide. |

My husband is a history teacher and wanted to learn more about places we'd seen before in Manhattan. I was a bit worried because he knows a lot and I thought this person better be good, or he'd know it in a heartbeat. Fortunately, she was great! Her passion for the subject matter shone through. We had been in NYC about 9 months earlier and had been in some of the same areas, but just didn't have the opportunity to learn the things that she pointed out (like the revolutionary vetran grave markers in St. Pauls and Trinity grave yards). She also provided interesting tidbits on the architecture as we passed. I'm picky about how I spend my precious vacation time, and this was definately time well spent! Thank you. |
