Great Historical Tour

The tour was fascinating because of the attention to detail given by our guide Karen. Her enthusiasm flowed from corner to corner. I consider myself a knowledgeable history buff but the tour gave me a different perspective of that era. Since many of that era's buildings are gone, it is paramount to have a tour guide that can get you to use your imagination. Karen was such a guide. If this was an example of your product, I will certainly sign up for future tours and recommend them to friends and family. Thanks

The group was my brother and sister-in-law from Florida, you remember the conservative ones! And I come from Connecticut. We absolutely loved every minute of the tour and thought you were so well qualifed and full of valuable history. Plus you were fun and have a great personality. Tell your husband how lucky he is to have you!

Our tour guide, Karen, did a great job of telling us about lower Manhattan history. We enjoyed hearing about the famous people who lived, worked and were buried in the city. We were lucky to be the only two there so we had a personal tour!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Karen, our guide, was totally educated and informed on her subject. Her enthusiasm was quite infectious. We went on a miserably hot day but it did not dampen our experience. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have a special interest in this period of our history.

Extremely Informative

This trip had been highly recommended by my brother. We are natives to the NYC area and I am somewhat familiar with the history of the region, but Karen's narration and documentation were above and beyond. She obviously has put a lot of time into research of the subject matter and has great documentation. The best part of the tour is it is run by someone who is excited about the subject matter and excited about the city and the region. That makes the tour exciting. She also knows how to tell a story which is absolutely necessary to make the experience exceptional. Am looking forward to taking the architectural tour for a deeper understanding of the architectural treasures downtown. Highly recommended.

Loved the tour and we'll definitely do another one with the company. The tour guide was excellent in her knowledge and her enthusiasm. As someone who is fairly well read on NYC History, the tour has some really great insights. Would totally recommend to others. Best, Liz Kressel and James Daly

very interesting but a little too much detail

The details were amazing but almost too much information to absorb in that format and created too much standing time at sites. Karen was great, friendly, energetic and prepared.

She's a wonderfiully smart, intelligent and well-versed tour guide. She knows her stuff, and knows her history. She doesn't read from cue cards or a script. It's a great tour if you like history, even if you're a native Manhattanite like myself. Lotsof fun and i would highly reccomend to history lovers.
