| The guide was very knowledgeable, with documents and pictures to back up her material. She obviously loved her subject and she made the time period come to life. She should write a book about New York during the Revolutionary period! |

| My boyfriend and I went on this tour with my parents who are both very interested in American history and we had a wonderful time. I learned so much about NY, even after living here for 8 years, that I wouldn't have known otherwise. I liked it so much I want to sign us up for the Civil War tour the next time we're all in town! Our guide Karen was extraordinary, we all liked her very much and you could tell she is extremely passionate about her love for American history, but she doesn't make you feel at all uncomfortable for asking questions. In fact, she seems grateful to share her passion with others. What more could you ask for from a tour or your guide? I also thought the price was very fair for the amount of information you acquire and for the level of expertise that's shared. I hope others enjoy it as much as we did! |

| My friend and I attended the Revolutionary War walking tour in the AM; and the Civil War in the PM. We had a great time for both. For the Revolutionary tour, I found the small details discussed and the humor in which the Colonists "debated" interesting and funny at the same time. Seeing the landmarks of important happenings was such a neat thing. So much history happened in New York at this time and seeing it come to life through our guide, Karen, was great. She was funny, knowledgeable, and it was apparent she loved her job. Her enthusiasm for the history was contagious. If you like history, you will love this! Highly recommend! |

| The sights were awe-inspiring from City Hall area to the NYSE and the site of Washington's first inaugural to Bowling Green and Trinity Church on the lip of Ground Zero, but the guide made the tour extra special. She was knowledgable and seemed personally involved in and by the history. |

| Despite the freezing weather, we could not pull ourselves away from the tour and walked for two and a half hours in the bitter wind.
A real tribute to the guide |
