| Our guide brought brightness to a grey, rainy NY day. No recitations from a standard tour book here; she had researched and constructed the history stories in an informative and interesting way, suitable for all age groups and backgrounds. My family group came from CA, SC and CT, and as we returned to my home via the Metro-North train, we told all the "peak time" commuters arround us about the fascinating day we spent in our Lower Manhattan neighborhood.
I will take the Civil War tour at my earliest opportunity! |

| Just returned from New York where we had a fabulous tour with Patriot Tours. Can't recommend it highly enough. The guide was one of the most knowledgeable I've seen. She not only really knew her history but knew how to bring it to life for us. My daughter and I both loved it and highly recommend both the tour and the tour guide. They were both fabulous!

| I enjoyed this waliking tour and I am looking forward to the Civil War walking tour in the future. Karen is very plesent and knowledgable on the subject. I would recommend this tour to all those interested in New York and American history. This walk will provide a better appreciation of New York and its role in the American Revolution. |

| This was our first trip to NYC and I am a big history fan so I planned this tour for our second day. I had read the other reviews when booking so was really looking forward to this. Karen was amazing!! Her knowledge and use of illustrations during the tour really brought history alive. This was one of the big highlights of our trip. I highly recommend the tour and Karen is a fantastic guide. The pace was just right. |

| This walking tour turned out to be so much better than we had even anticipated. Warm, friendly and very knowledgeable, our guide had experience working in the financial district, which brought even more to the tour. Told in story form, and interwoven with current affairs, this historical walk through downtown Manhattan was an easy walk, full of humor, and unbelievably interesting. My 18 yr. old son thoroughly enjoyed it--now that says something! Don't miss this one! |

| There were 6 of us on the tour. - three middle-aged adults, two seniors, and one 8 year old. We all found it extremely interesting, and took away different highlights. The tour guide is clearly knowledgeable, and can tailor the content to the interests of the participants. She is enthusiastic and clearly happy to answer any questions before, during or even after the tour. There were lots of great stories about the individuals who helped shape this country. This is also a very good value for the cost. |

The tour guide has a firm grasp of the politics of the time, as well as the importance of each location we visited. |
