| The tour guide, Karen, was enthusiastic and informative with well-researched information. The 2 1/2 hour tour actually ended up being a little over 3 hours which was most appreciated. We look forward to taking her Civil War tour of New York City. |

| Karen was fabulous, it was like going on a tour with a history professor. She knew everything, not just about New York, but about the revolutionary war and how it related to early Manhattan. My husband and I are amateur revolutionary war buffs, but we learned so much on this tour. We highly highly recommend it to anyone who has any interest at all in history. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, answered all our questions with enthusiasm, was pleasant and friendly. It really was one of the highlights of our New York visit! |

| We had a great time on this tour. We learned things about New York /Manhattan that we'd never heard before and it gave us a really interesting perspective on this great city and its rich history. We only had a day to spend in New York so it was probably too much to try to do this tour and other things on the same day. Our kids (ages 11 and 12) were exhausted after two-and-a-half hours of pretty solid walking so we needed recovery time which we hadn't planned on. It would have been nice to leave some of the tidbits out so there would be more time to explore some of the neat sites like Trinity Church and St. Paul's Chapel, as well as Fraunces Tavern. The pictures that the guide brought along were very informative, and her stories and quotes from famous New Yorkers from that time were valuable in illustrating that age. Great tour!! |

| Karen was a great tour guide, and knew much more than she could cover in a 3 hour tour. The only drawback was that the tour took nearly 3 hours, which was a little long for my kids. |

| Our guide, Karen, was very knowledgable about the Revolution in NYC. She was also concerned that we all enjoy ourselves. I observed that she found a way to talk with each of us indivdually as we made our way through the tour. The members of our group appreciated her interest in each of us and her concern that we have a good tour. This tour is a great way to spend part of an afternoon seeing lower Manhattan and learning about the early stages of our struggles to become a nation apart from England. |

| I very much enjoyed the tour. I appreciated the enthusiasm and knowledge our tour guide possessed and her willingness to share. It was clear she was very enthused about the history of Manhattan in this era. Frankly, the tour set the stage for tour of Manhattan during the week...we were able to relate the different sites we saw to much of the information she shared with us on the tour.
It was the highlight of the trip in a city of highlights. I'll take the Civil War tour on the next trip back.
Thanks.

| I had a very informative and fun afternoon with Karen on her US Revolution Tour of New York last week (apologies for the delay....only just got back!) Karen was friendly and knew her history etc She also made it fun too with many interesting and quirky stories about the lives of characters involved at that time! I learned alot from her and was lucky too in that I was the only visitor on the tour that day so it was even more special and personalised! I would highly recommend this tour and if I had been in New York longer would have taken her Civil War Tour too!
Until the next time!
