It was a real treat being part of Karen's 'patriotic' walking tour. It was on a cold and miserable day, but she is such a knowledgeable and interesting guide that she made us forget about the weather and got us caught up in her obvious passion for American history. Both my friend and I would recommend Karen's 'patriotic' walking tour and hope to do others with her in the future.

Karen is so knowledgeable and eager to give us what we want. She spent extra time with us, answered all of our questions and offered additional information. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour since we learned so much about our country's history, and also because Karen was awesome! We would recommend it to anyone. Thank you!!

BEST TOUR EVER!

My family and I (parents in their 50s, children in their 20s) took this tour the day after Thanksgiving. Even my brother, who has absolutely no interest in history, LOVED this tour. It was captivating and the tour guide had tons of information. The best part was that she was not too cheesy or falsely enthusiastic, which is how most tour guides seem. My family can't wait to go on another tour.

I learned more than just historical facts from this tour. Karen brought New York during the Revolutionary War alive. She made the characters feel like people you could know. I enjoyed the tour so much that I'd take it again.

Karen did such a nice job of telling, showing, and explaining the history of lower manhattan during the Revolutionary time period. We have been wanting to do a tour like this one for a long time and am so happy that we finally did it! I cant wait for next year! I think we will try the Civil War tour next!

Our tour guide was friendly and warm, and exhibited deep knowledge of the time period. Her enthusiasm was contageous, and it was fun to learn obscure facts about the area and the revolution. It was definitely one of the best tours I've ever taken.

This is a great walking tour of downtown Manhattan, especially if you are a history buff. Our tour guide was Karen--she was friendly, informative, and enthusiastic about her subject matter. She is full of anecdotes, stories, and history that I guarantee you never learned in your history classes! All in all, I would highly recommend this tour for anyone hoping to walk the streets of colonial and revolutionary New York City--you're in for a treat!
