| The tour guide (tour owner) was incredibly knowlegible and enthusiastic about the subject matter. Most of the info was things I never heard of before -- and felt like I should have known. Physically, not that much remains of the era - but there is just enough to be able to visualize. We would highly recommend this tour -- it was just our family. It might be a little too much information for younger children, but teens and up would be okay. Again -- we were very impressed with the tour guide/owner and her interest in the subject shines through. |

| Karen knows her subject exceptionally well and provided many interesting details and facts about the personalities-lives of Revolutionary War figures.
It felt like we were privy to the "inside scoop" of the news of the day. |

| Even though it was pouring down rain, we had a fascinating snapshot of the events that took place on the island of Manhattan before, during and after the Revolutionary War. The tour guide was knowledgeable and interesting, she was very engaging and her stories and descriptions of events allowed us to picture the events and geography in our minds. I would recommend this tour to anyone with even a little interest in the Revolutionary War Era and the events that occured in NYC. |

| This tour is amazing. It was the second time time my friends and I had gone on the tour and we weren't disappointed. The tour guide, Karen, is great. She is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions in detail. She was very personable with everyone, and encouraged questions and discussions. Even though it was raining and windy (really one of the rainiest days I have ever seen) it didn't take away from the tour, the group trudged on as if it was a normal sunny day. I recommend this tour to anyone. It is well worth it. |

| This tour was one of the best that I have ever taken! The tour guide was so engaging in her description and very, very knowledgeable about the subject and she was easy to follow and understand. She was so enthused about her subject and it showed with every step that we took. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone because it is simply that good! Our tour guide provided a first class service for the cost of the ticket and it was well worth what we received! I will book another tour from her the next time that we are in New York. |

| Karen is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and personable. She had interesting stories that brought the Revolutionary war Era to life. She also had pertinent sketches of what the area looked like during that period, where we were standing. The walk was the perfect length as was the time. |

| Karen's tour was absolutely fascinating. Not once was she dry and stodgy, with a recitation of dates and facts. Rather she focused on the personal stories and anecdotes. The tour was long -- more than two and a half hours -- and we weren't bored for one minute. Just be absolutely sure to wear comfortable shoes! |
