| I had a personal tour by the guide. She was very knowledgeable and I could tell that she really enjoyed giving the tour. I learned a lot and would recommend it to others who might be interested in the Revolutionary period in New York City. |

| Our tour guide Karen was a weath of information concerning historical events that happened in New York and the surrounding areas. If you enjoy history, especially the colonial and American Revolution era, this is a must do tour. We learned so much in just 2 1/2 hours. We were able to see many historical places in Lower Manhattan. Karen is constantly researching to add more information to the tour. She is able to present a lot of interesting, unique tidbits of information that make the 2 1/2 hours fly by.
We hope to get back to New York someday and take the tour again. |

| It was an interesting tour, perhaps better than it would otherwise have been, since my wife and I were the only ones there. The tour guide seemed like she might be pro-Bush, and that turned me off. She was a nice woman, however, and I learned a lot. If you have bad knees, be careful, it's a long tour. Wear your knee brace if you have one-I should have. I would recommend going in warmer weather, when it's at least 55 degrees or warmer. |

| My wife and I took three tours on this trip to New York. This tour we took on Monday, April 3, 2006. All three were good, however, this tour was extraordinary. The knowledge and personality of the tour guide set this tour apart from the other two. She was focused on the theme of the tour and was not distracted by the all the activity around downtown New York. Although she did mention the effects of the loss associated with the Trade Center, she did not focus on it. She focused on the history of New York City, particularly with regard to the Revolutionary War period. It was evident that she was passionate about this era of history and was able to demonstrate that passion to those of us who were on the tour. Twice during the tour we were approached by drunks. Both times she was able to diffuse a potentially disruptive event with a minimum of disruption. Overall, this tour was outstanding and I would recommend it to both native New Yorkers and visitors.

| What a wonderful way to see a completely hidden side of NYC. The company has done fabulous research, weaves the history and stories together well, and is responsive to the needs of the group.
It will delight history buffs and tourists, and, enlighten New Yorkers who may not know much about how their city got started.

| We took the tour with another family and thoughly enjoyed experience. Our guide was very interesting and really knew her stuff. We had no idea how much of a role NYC played in the Revolutionary War. Our guide was very tough it was cold, windy with freezing rain but she keep going and made the best of the very bad weather. Overall very good. |

| We had a great time on the Patriot Tour. Our guide was very knowledgable and personable. Our 16-year-old daughter said the tour was the next best activity we did other than going to a Broadway show. |

| Good Tour! Tour leader was very well informed and presented the information well. She also knew a great deal about the architecture or the buildings in the area. We had a very small group so we were able to ask questions. She was able to give us a good picture of what lower Manhattan was like at the time of the Revolutionary War. The only drawback was ending the tour quite a distance from the starting point. I would recommend the tour to anyone interested in history and to seeing the island from a slightly different perspective. I was also quite surprised that the guide didn't ask for a tip at the end of the tour, very classy!. Well done. |

| Karen was great! She was so knowledgeable. She did a wonderful job of communicating a vast amount of information in such a fun and memorable way.We learned more on this tour than any we have ever taken. This tour was definitely more that we expected. We saw more sights, more architecture, and heard more about the history of New York than we had anticipated. We absolutely loved it and we have already recommended it to many people. Thanks so much! |
