| My husband and I loved this tour. We learned so much about NYC and our revolutionary war history. We saw so many treasures that we would never have seen on our own and she really brought everything to life with stories about fascinating individuals and historical landmarks. We would recommend this to anyone. Our intrepid tour guide didn't short us a bit despite our being in the midst of a mild nor'easter! |

| My husband and I took two Patriot Tours in August 2008. This year we had time for just one, the Revolutionary Era tour.
Once again Karen, our guide, provided a superb experience! We were amazed at all the facts she had at her command - the result of her diligent research in primary source documents such as newspapers, letters, and cemetery records. As we walked around lower Manhattan for 2 1/2 hours, she drew together stories of people and places to create a vivid portrait of the era. Names from the history books came to life, and through Karen's knowledgeable and enthusiastic presentation, we were able to gain insight and appreciation into what made that era and those people so inspiring.
We highly recommend any of the tours offered by Patriot Tours, and plan to include one or more on every visit to New York City. |

| A great guide can make anything interesting. Karen was truly great, and the subject matter is highly interesting as well. So the tour was truly memorable! The tour covers New York from its founding through the birth of the nation. New York played such an important role! Fascinating stuff to be sure. I recommend listen to McCollough's audiobook "1776" before this tour to give additional context. Enjoy! |

| Karen is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and personable. She had interesting stories that brought the Revolutionary war Era to life. She also had pertinent sketches of what the area looked like during that period, where we were standing. The walk was the perfect length as was the time. |

| Most people do not appreciate how historical a city New York is. Most people that is who haven't gone on the Revolutionary Era Walking Tour. From Bowling Green Park to Fraunces Tavern to Saint Paul's Chapel, New York is utterly replete with remnants of a remarkable past. Add to this the fascinating and inspiring stories told so expertly by the incomparable Karen, our guide, of the people who populated these arenas during those precarious years prior to our Nation's birth, and you have the makings of a 2 and a half hour journey that can compete with the best that even modern N.Y. has to offer. Please discover this for yourself. You'll no longer be able to see the city or even the country in the same way again. |

| We would highly recommend this tour. It was fun, informative, and well presented. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The only thing to be aware of is time. Our tour took 3 hours, though it was time well spent. Maybe our tour went long because we asked so many questions. |

| This tour was excellent. The pace was good, not too fast not too slow. Karen is so knowledgeable about her subject its amazing how she keeps all of the facts in her head. We knew nothing about this topic but came away with a much better understanding and information on the history which we didn't get from any other tour or brochure.
We would recommend this for anyone who wants to know more about this period of American history. Not for children though its too indepth |

| Excellent tour of Manhattan during the Revolutionary War period. The guide was very informative with details about the locations and events that built up during the war. Not to mention many unknown people and facts surounding the events before the war began. A must for American History buffs or time travelers. Very well done, you will enjoy an excellent learning experience. Thank You Again. |

| Terrific tour - couldn't absorb all the info given - would like to take it again on my next trip to NYC. I've already recommended it to other Colonial America enthusiasts. |
