Very informing.

Karen brought to life the history of lower Manhattan that was visual and exciting. Despite the fact that almost none of the original sites still exist today, she made it seem as if we were back in the 18th century. We were fascinated by her knowledge and enthusiasm for, to many, a lost history.

Our tour guide was passionate, knowledgeable, and delightful. I'll definitely be taking more of their tours in the future.

If you enjoy history, a brisk walk, and a very knowledgeable tour guide - Karen will entertain and explain NYC during its formation. In depth knowledge of events, personalities, and politics of the period. A bargin at this price.

We enjoyed learning about the Revolutionary War history in the Manhattan and surrounding areas. We have studied history quite a bit...but, we learned many details that helps us put our "hard fought" freedom in a much richer context for us. Thank You!

The guide on this walking tour was excellent! She had actual copies of documents which backed up the historical information she related! I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in history! Even if you think you are not, you would be surprized to hear the detailed accounts of the role New York City played in the Revolutionary War period. Great tour!

It was a delight to work with a guide who was so enthusiastic about her topic. My husband is a history buff and even he learned a great deal on this tour. I really liked that she picked out lesser known people and facts to talk about and her ability to give us a sense that we were walking the same roads as our forefathers walked.

Karen was knowledgeable and well-read on the subject. She was a wonderful conversationalist and as interested in what we had to say as she was in what she wanted to impart to us. She was personable, and although she had planned the tour, she made commendations to our interests. An afternoon well spent!

I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of the City of New York. Our tour guide had a vast knowledge of both facts and anecdotes, many of which were gleaned from original historical documents. New York City in the Revolutionary War era came to life in her telling.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history she was relaying, my boyfriend and I were really pleased to take such a fun tour and when we got home many of our relatives and friends told us they never considered taking that kind of tour while on vacation--I'm really glad we did.

The Revolutionary War tour was one of the highlights of our NYC visit. Karen was incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly is passionate about what she does. She shared many details of the Revolution I had not heard before. For anyone into history, arrange your schedule so you can be sure to attend! Highly recommended for anyone.

My family and I enjoyed an incredible Saturday afternoon taking the Revolutionary Era Patriot Tour with Karen. It was incredible to learn about my neighborhood and Karen's enthusiasm and passion about the material really made the history come alive.
