| I am an 8th grade history teacher in Florida and I went on the tour with my husband, and brother and sister-in law. We all had such a wonderful time. Our tour guide knew more information than I could have ever imagined. I brought so much knowledge with me back home that I can use in my classroom. Besides this being great for teachers, it was very interesting to see history that you would never knew existed in NYC. (The other 3 people I were with were not in education and they loved it!!!) The Before and Now pictures and descriptions were amazing and enlightening. It was fun to learn about things that the everyday person passing by would never know. Our guide did such a good job and she was very personable and enjoyable to be with. I highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in history and discovery. | ||||||

| What a wonderful way to see a completely hidden side of NYC. The company has done fabulous research, weaves the history and stories together well, and is responsive to the needs of the group. It will delight history buffs and tourists, and, enlighten New Yorkers who may not know much about how their city got started. | ||||||

| we very much enjoyed the tour because we were the only one on this tour and the guide was able to change the tour from its original concept to meet our individual knowledge. Besides that the guide was having a good knowledge about all we wanted to know and was speaking clearly in an very entertaining manner. Thanks a lot We will join other tours during our next stay. Especially if there will be an architectural tour Best Tim Böger, Petra Botz and Finn Böger | ||||||

| Our Civil War guide would probably enjoy some of the walking tours offered in Charleston, SC. Civil War was not all about slavery. States and individual rights very much a part of the conflict, as was (is) the propensity of Northern Protestant clergy to know best for all. On the whole, we enjoyed our tour. | My husband and I brought our seven year old daughter on this tour because she watches Liberty Kids about the Revolutionary War, and learned a little bit about it in school. We all thought this would be a great way to understand the war better and learn a little bit more of what happened in our city. What we found was information that was way over her head. We didn't finish the tour because she was so bored and really didn't care about the sites. The tour is NOT ment for young children as they have a short attention span and it wasn't fun for her. I think this tour would have been fun for her had there been some kind of brouchure with activities on it for her. We took her to Ellis Island and they have a little brouchure that kids use along with the tour that make it fun for the kids. I think this would be a good idea to use for this tour as well. As for my husband and I we would love to take the tour again without our children. Even though we left early, we found the tour to be full of information and the tour guide was very nice. She was really great at answering questions not just about Manhattan but about the other boroughs in the city and what roll they played in the war. | ||||||

| This tour was the best tour we had while on vacation in New York. It provided us with history that is sometimes glossed over or left out in history books. All we hear about is how Boston and Philadelphia played an important role in the revolution, but I had no idea the impact that New York had. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and provided an excellent experience. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. | ||||||

| We took this tour on July 22, and have to give it rave reviews. I booked the tour for myself and my fiance, and another couple, as a present for my fiance's birthday. Both my fiance and my girlfriend are avid Revolutionary War Aficionados; me less so, but enthusiastic. It was informative, fun and our guide (the owner of the company) made it seem at times that we were really IN the New York of the 1700's. We all learned a lot (even the two "sort-of-experts") because there was so much more information that we'd never even heard of. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. We're thinking of taking the Civil War Tour in the fall. And lastly, I will never look at another Duane Reade drugstore without knowing what the names really mean! Thanks so much for a great day! | ||||||
