Learn Some Philly Facts While Eating Along The Way

Judy was our guide and what a terrific job she did! Little facts about the history of the city and general information. I planned this food tour as one of our first things we did in Philadelphia and I am glad we did. Judy told us about how the city was laid out which came in handy later in the week while navigating the city streets. In addition, she pointed out some great restaurants along the way and thanks to Open Table, I was able to get reservations! In addition, we revisited some of the food stops like the Flying Monkey (heavenly!) and the delicious chocolate pretzels at the Reading Terminal (snacks for the ride home). It was a great afternoon and Judy was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. What a fun way to get to know areas of the city and eat some delicious food while listening to some background and history. Would highly recommend this food tour to anyone visiting Philadelphia!!

Our guide was well prepared, very interesting and took the time to show us many interesting stops along our tour. The food was amazing and the group was small enough that we could interact with the guide well. Highly recommended!!!

A Delicious Experience!

Wow, what an amazingly dilicious experience! Our guide was personable and extremely knowledgeable with regard to the culture, food, and history of Philadelphia. She took excellent care of each member in the group and made the tour memorable for everybody. The food stops were well selected and the history of the city flowed nicely. We went to places in the city that I wouldn't have thought to visit but am extremely glad that I did! Reserving this event was really easy as everything was done on-line. I was a bit challenged by the idea that you need to print the voucher as I was staying at a hotel where these services were expensive. I called the office and after speaking with Richard, he assured me that my name was on the list and that it wasn't necessary to print the document; I was grateful. I wish that my confirmation could have been sent to my iPhone, that way I could have simply showed it to the guide and not stressed over the print job. Anyway, it was one of the BEST things I did while in Philadelphia and would recommend the tour to anybody not familiar with the city or it's food! Also, get the cupcake...it's worth it!

We took a Food Tour as part of a Mother-Daughter weekend in Philadelphia. We had taken one on a trip to Chicago trip & really enjoyed it so we wanted to try it in Philadelphia. Ryan was our tour guide and met up promptly for the tour with two other families with children. At each food stop, he shared background stories of the food, the neighborhood and the owner of the food establishments. He was very informative. His tour of the city was great - he pointed out interesting architecture and told stories about the background of various parts of the city. Who knew there was a pipe organ in Macy's (formerly John Wanamaker's) and that you can have dinner in the vault of an old bank that is now a local beautiful steakhouse! Ending the tour at the Reading Terminal was also a great way to show you another side of the city. We enjoyed it so much we went back another day for Cheese Steak's at Tony Jrs. and a pipe organ concert sitting in the shoe department of Macy's. Thank you Ryan for a unique look and eats in Philadelphia.

The tour guide was personalble, full of information and enthusiastic. The food was interesting and covered a broad range of items. Best with very comfortable walking shoes. We went back to one of the places. We enjoyed the cultural exchange. My mother in law really enjoyed this part of our trip.

Thank you for an excellent food tour while in Philadelphia. All of the food tastings were tasty, and we even learned some inside tips about the city that helped us navigate our way back to an amazing organ concert after the tour that we would have never known about. Our tour guide was informative, considerate and well versed as well.
