Great tour and eats! Jamie was the best of the guides we've had on our few City Food Tours. This one (flavors of Philly) had more food than Northern Liberties tour, and was more casual in my opinion. Definitely recommend both! |

The Flavors of Philly tour was a great complement to the traditional bus tour that I took the day before. The food tour allowed me to get to know the city center much better, and being with a group of others was nice for a solo traveler like me.
All of the food we tasted was great. We got to sample a cheesesteak, tomato pie, soft pretzel, hoagie, chocolate covered pretzels, and a fresh chocolate chip cookie. We even had a vegan on the tour, and they catered to his dietary restrictions.
I would highly recommend this tour! |

I had concerns about going on this tour because of the carbs--but frankly they give you such perfect portions and you walk and hear about Philadelphia and its history and architecture etc so it all works so well. Frankly I loved everything but the cheesesteak--(sorry Philly) loved the fries, the amazingly different pizza, the prezels and deserts and the tour was very informative and the guide was excellent and could talk loud in traffic and you could hear him. At the end I felt full but never felt stuffed and the next day I woke up and did not gain a pound!!! that was even better. I would definitely recommend this tour. |

We had a great time, learned quite a bit with Kirsten, our wonderful tour guide, and ate some amazing food! The tomato pie at Joe's and veg sub from Zio's were unreal. |

I had a lot of fun, though I wish that we had gotten a whole cookie, cheesesteaks at a different place, and wayyy more information about where to park. The trip was fun but way to expensive for the experience |

Last week I had the pleasure of joining one of your tours with tour leader, Judy, and I would just like to say what a wonderfully, informative and fun tour it was.
Having done a tour of Philadelphia on a bus on the Monday before this one, when most of the attractions were closed for the day, II had some idea of the historical significance of Philadelphia, but it was brought to life by Judy with her fantastic knowledge of the city and it's history and the great food we sampled. I almost wish I was still doing food reviews for radio as I was a few months ago - would have been a pleasure to tell my listeners all about it. I highly recommend this tour to ANYONE! |

My friend and I are from New York, and we were looking for something new to do on a Friday afternoon since we had the day free. She had done a food tour in NYC, so we decided to come down to Philly for the day and try out one of their food tours. I had lived in Philly for 3 years a few years ago, so I knew the area fairly well. But, as it turned out I learned a lot I didn't know while on the tour. In between the eating, the guide gave us some snippets of Philly's history in addition to the history of the food we were eating, and it was fantastic. The places we were taken to were such great representations of Philadelphia culture from the cheesesteak, to the tomato pie, to the soft pretzel. Ending the tour at Reading Terminal Market was perfect. The food was great, the guide was great, and it was a beautiful day to walk around the city.... It was a great time! After the tour we met up with friends of mine who are still in the area, and I told them they should absolutely do this tour! |
