My 15 year old son and I were looking for something fun to do in the city. We found it. Our Flavors of Philly Food Tour was great. Our guide, Kelly, was very knowledgeable about the food and the city. She had such an upbeat, positive, fun pesonality. This is a great way to spend an afternoon in Philly. One important piece of advice--don't eat before coming to this tour!!! |

This was our first time in Philadelphia and we had a wonderful experience on the City Food Tour. It was a wonderful blend of Philly history and enjoying the local flavor through the various foods. It is a nice variety of foods and an easy walk around the city. We highly recommend it!
I would certainly take another City Food Tour without hesitation. |

Our group ranged in age from 49 to 7 - two families with a total of 5 children. We toured around Philly in the morning (the usual stuff) and were very tired by the time the tour started. We are from New York and were visiting a family from suburban Philadelphia. Both families loved the tour. The food was much better than any of us from New York expected - none of us had tasted Philly Cheesesteak or Tomato Pie. Very, very memorable. |

It was a cold rainy day but our tour guide went above and beyond- she came prepared for us with bottles of water, ponchos, and umbrellas in a backpack. She was a 3rd generation Phili native and had all the charm and authentic accent to prove it. Fun visual aids (laminated to survive the weather!) were added to the talking, which included topics of folklore, city and food history, and culture. The food was amazing, starting with tomato pie, moving on to a pretzel, a phili cheesesteak with fries, and then desserts. Definitely filled us up for the day so we cancelled our fancy dinner reservation that night and just had a simple appetizer at a bar instead. The tour involved going up a flight of stairs so beware if you have mobility issues or strollers. We crossed streets safely at crosswalks and moved at a comfortably slow pace, stopping often to take notice of architectural features and quirks. It lasted exactly from 1:30-4:00 as promised, and it was a great way to fill up the day as a group of friends. Tip is expected at the end of the tour because your guide is not only your guide but also your waitress and bus boy. She did such a good job we were happy to tip! Definitely plan on doing more of these food tours next time we visit Phili! |

We took our tour with our 10yr old daughter. We had our concerns about a child on the tour but we were AMAZED! Our tour guide was FABULOUS about making sure our daughter understood everything. We got to see some great sights and a ton of history thrown in with the food info. We are already planning to book another tour in a few months! I would recommend this company and this tour to ANYONE! |

Food provided was plentiful with the exception of the desserts which were quite small. However, there was enough food to hold us over for the rest of the day. Tour Guide was great pointing out many murals and sculptures we passed along the way. She was very knowledgeable about the city of Philadelphia. She pointed out many buildings with interesting architechure that you may have not noticed on your own. At the end of the tour she provided us with some dining suggestions. I wish they would offer this tour more than one time a day. It would have been nice to go on a dinner time food tasting. |

The Philly gourmet walking tour was very tasty. We went to several local eateries and at each one, the guide explained specifically what made that eatery's food particularly special. We saw some neat places that I had never been to before in Philly, including a restaurant inside a former bank. Good times! |

I've been living in Philadelphia for 8 years. Tour guide was very welcoming, warm and kind. She knew the area well and had answers to all our questions. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend the tour, especially the tour guide to others! |

Our guide was well prepared, very interesting and took the time to show us many interesting stops along our tour. The food was amazing and the group was small enough that we could interact with the guide well. Highly recommended!!! |
