City Food Tours & Events

My husband and I were away for a 1 day/night getaway to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! The Philly Food tour was so much fun! We loved the history, food and the information. One of the highlights was going into Macy's to see the organ and the Eagle - oh and of course, the cheesesteak, pretzels, tomato pie, and the cool market right across from our hotel. We had a great afternoon - our tourguide was so nice and interesting!

Despite rainy weather, the tour guides were still upbeat and friendly and tried to keep us out of the cold/rain as much as possible. There is enough food on the tour that you do not need to eat lunch before because you will be full afterward. Very interesting facts and fun activities. Thank you!

Walking the streets of downtown Philadelphia and visiting various restaurants was very interesting. We learned about some of Philly's landmarks but most importantly, we enjoyed the essence of what the city has to offer via our taste buds. Tour on an empty stomach as you enjoy tomatoe pies, hoagies, cheesesteaks and more.

It was absolutely awesome! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, providing little known trivia facts about Philadelphia while we would enjoy delicious food bites! She was also very knowledgeable about the food, the people who made it, and pointed out other good places to try on our own they didn't happen to be on the tour. Overall I would definitely give it two thumbs up!

I returned to Philly with my boyfriend, a first-time visitor, to visit my sister, a local college student. We all loved the walking tour and the historical information about the buildings and different parts of the city. And the food was delicious, generously portioned (more than enough for your main meal of the day), and was presented with interesting background. The only place we went that I had ever been before was Reading Terminal Market, and you would never hear me complain about that! This would be great to do with a group. Definitely bring the camera, and don't forget to tip your tourguide!

We had an awesome, fun, energetic tour guide- Teagan who made the tour enjoyable! We did the tour as part of my sister's bachelorette party and had a great time tasting all the different decadent foods. We plan on getting a gift certificate for my dad to go on a different tour for his birthday!

We had a fantastic time with Judy and our 3 other companions with a shared love of food. The tour was exactly what it says in the description, and we were full by the end of the tour. The Tomato Pie is a must !

My daughter had her college room mate form San Francisco home for Easter. We wnted to show her phila. so we picked the food tour. It kept everybody entertained all of us from 15 to 55.

Great tour guide and great food. Portions were smaller than anticipated but the tour itself was great.
