Great Tour, Awful Tourguide

We really enjoyed the Flavors of Philly tour. We definitely got enough to eat and we enjoyed walking through Center City and learning fun facts about the city of Philadelphia. The walking was not too much nor too little. There was enough time between each establishment to digest the food and enjoy the company of the group. We did not like our tourguide, "Lady Miah" who was unprofessional and crass, pretty much obnoxious in general.

Great and fun experience.

We got to taste and discover more about chocolate, cheese and gelato. What's not to like. Teagan was our tour guide and she was great, upbeat and knowledgeable. A must do when in Philly!

Great, humorous guide- just enough history to make it interesting, but not boring. Plenty of food and good variety.

Fun way to try Philly foods!

Everything about the tour was fantastic - the guide, the info, and the food! Our guide was so personable and friendly and made everyone feel welcome. He shared lots of knowledge about the achitecture of some of the buildings in Philadelphia. The food was terrific - tomato pie, pretzels, cheesesteaks, and cookies. I would recommend the tour to everyone and look forward to taking some of the other food tours!

We had a lot of fun on this tour! We are originally from the area and get sick of doing the same things every time we go to Philly. Judy was our tour guide and she is amazing. We had fun, ate a TON of food and learned a little bit more about the city. This is really a must-do for new and returning visitors alike :)

It was terrible! I was greatly disappointed.

It started with the guide (Lady Giga) telling us about the chocolate icing over the chocolate chip cookies (with great build up) when we got to the cookies - she said NO- you do not get the chocolate covered cookies - just the plain ones.. The Philly Cheese Steak was made with hamburger! A BIG disappointment! The tomatoe pie we were given was such a small sliver. The $41 per person (there were 3 of us) price was way overpriced. I wish my money back!!!

I have taken many tours in Philly and this tour was great. We had fun eating at locations that is off the beaten track with some history thrown in for good measure. The guide was funny and entertaining.

Food and Adventure!

The Philadelphia Flavors of Food Tour is worth it. We had our three teenage children with us and all five of us enjoyed the almost 2 1/2 hour tour and five foods. The Philly cheesesteak was amazing with cheese fries as well! The tomato pie was a small portion and the soft pretzel was not enough. We shared one pretzel for all six people in our group! The chocolate chip cookie was small but tasty as were the mini chocolate covered pretzels. Overall for the price, we felt it was worth it. We enjoyed walking around Philly and learning some history, etc. while tasting some yummy treats.

I had a lot of fun, though I wish that we had gotten a whole cookie, cheesesteaks at a different place, and wayyy more information about where to park. The trip was fun but way to expensive for the experience

A Wonderful Time for All

My friend was visiting from the Chicago area and my husbasnd and I had such an enjoyable time on a previous tour on Jan. 22 that I decided to try The Taste of Philly. We both thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the architectual commentary. My friend and I are originally from North Jersey so both of us were pleasantly surprised and feel we know so much more about the area and it's native foods. I've already reccommended the tour to quite a few people. The guide was wonderful!
