Best of New York - Personal Photo Tour

I cannot praise Marc highly enough. I had booked a 2hr tour with Marc to photograph my proposal to my girlfriend Jen. We were booked to meet with Marc at 8am however due to circumstances beyond our control we couldn't meet with him until 9am. He was very understanding and flexible with the arrangements and really helped to make this special day a success. He is a wealth of local knowledge and gave us lots of hints and tips. I would strongly recommend tourists to do yourself and book yourself a walking tour. The photos are amazing..Thanks Marc..Troy & Jen

My husband and I went on this tour on August 23rd : we had just a few hours left before our flight back home (we live in Italy). This PhotoTrek Tour was a GREAT decision and without question one of the most memorable experiences we had in NYC ! Mark is top notch : professional but friendly , very informed about everything in town , he made us feel comfortable from the very fist moment we met. We learnt many fun things about NYC while he was snapping WONDERFUL photos all the way ! The CD we have just received from excellent Mark is full with VERY BEAUTIFUL shots ; it brings back so many happy memories , as we thoroughly enjoyed all of the tour . It is unbelievable how Mark could manage to take pics as IF WE TWO WERE THE ONLY TOURISTS in NYC !! I recall that in Central Pak we were "packed" in the middle of a huge crowd of tourists - but the photos show ONLY the two of us and absolutely stunning views !! Mark left us at a subway station , at that perfect time we had requested in order to get back to our hotel - he answered any possible questions , you could tell how he loves his job and NYC as well !! We would highly recommend this tour to everyone . When we return to New York we'll surely take another tour with Mark - possibly the 3 hours tour ! As a first time visitor and keen photographer myself, it was fantastic to have such a knowledgeable,enthusiastic local guide show us his city. The tour packed in some fantastic locations and the resulting images look great.

My daughter and I enjoyed the tour very much. We did the 3 hour tour and got to see another side of New York. Mark has fantastic knowledge and gave us an insight that you don't get on the usual tourist trail. Photos are great and give us a wonderful record of our tour.

Our tour guide Marc was deeply committed. He explained us many things about the places we vistited during our tour and gave us very concrete advice (e.g. how to use the subway in order to arrive our favorite destinations). We also liked the way he dealed with the fact that we are no native speakers. Marc pronounced clearly and distinctly. Although we are from Germany, we could understand nearly every word he said and so we had great hours together and now - back at home - marvelous pictures to show our family and friends. THANK YOU!

This tour was a great way to begin our vacation in New York City. Our tour guide Mark was great, he showed us how to use the subway system and even went out of his way to guide us directly to the train that would take us to our next destination, Coney Island. He answered all our questions and was patient even in the 100 degree weather. The quality and amount of our pictures was awesome. What a wonderful keepsake.

Absolutely thrilled with the photo memories that we now have of our visit to New York. All the photos were prepared to show the highlights of our visit .Our previous shots of New York were spur of the moment and only included both of us if we could persuade someone to take a photo of us both. Often the results of these photos were as you would expect from amateur photographers as were our own photos. The photo trek photos without exception were excellent with different approaches and the positioning of the subjects to give maximum effect. We highly recommend photo trek tours to give you those photos that otherwise would be impossible to replicate. Apart from the photos we received great advice about places to go what to see and not to see. We will be recommending photo trek tours to all our friends who are planning a trip to New York.

We took this tour as the first port of call in our first visit to New York and it was well worth while - we found we were well orientated to many things that would prove to be invaluble to our ten day stay. For example, getting orientated to the Subway system, learning how easy it was to get around and see all (well, most) of the landmarks. The bonus, of course, was the photographs. We didn't have to worry about going to see a particular attraction and taking our photograph - because it had already been done! The whole 3 hours went at a blistering pace (but not so we couldn't keep up with). I'd suggest to those who have never been to New York to take this Tour, make it the FIRST thing you do, and take the FULL 3 HOUR Tour: don't try the 2 hour, because you can see more and have more photos. The photos were delivered on time, as promised. The only downside is that we were not able to say "Thanks" for the great work; but do you know why? Because we had learnt so much in that first 3 hours, that we were off and independent and seeing MORE of New York!! Actually, if you take this Tour, you won't need to try the Jump on Jump off bus tours that others operate at expensive cost: Try this one, it is the Best Way of quickly being orientated to a Fabulous City!! I booked this a surprise gift for my girlfriend's birthday. When on holiday as a couple it is not easy to get good photos of the two of you without constantly asking others to take a photo of you and apart from the hassle, the quality is often not good enough. Therefore we thought this trip would eliminate all these issues and we were not disappointed. The photographer Marc was a very enthusiastic, knowledgeable bloke and took us around the city for well over the advertised 2 hours taking in Times Square, Central Park, the subway and Brooklyn Bridge among other sites. The photos are amazing and we can't thank him enough. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, particularly couples.
