Best of New York - Personal Photo Tour

I thought our Marc was very accomodating and informative. We went to all the places that we had selected. The scenes were fabulous especially Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge. I would have liked Marc to have told me that my eyes were half open on a lot of the shots so that we would of prevented this form the start. We would of had more great shots to choose from. I did wear sunglasses on some of the Brooklyn Bridge scenes. I would of liked some more assistance on what would work best for us. I.e. facial expressions, eye closure, hair that might of been fixed. Just some more detail things would of been helpful. Over all we enjoyed the experience and were glad that we did it. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the NYC area.

What a great experience, the opportunity to have professional photos taken of us with the spectacular NYC in the background was too good to pass up. The photographer/guide even helped us work out the NY subway system which has since proved invaluable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting New York

We decided to do our photo tour at the start of our holiday, and we were glad we did, as KENNEDY our phototrek guide was excellent he was friendly and made us feel comfortable and at ease while taking lots of photos!, he gave us lots of tips on New York places to go, restaurants and where to buy the best cupcakes!, took us on our first subway ride! It did start to rain half way through our tour, so Kennedy suggusted we should continue the next day. The next day it was raining! Kennedy phoned us first thing in the morning at our hotel and arranged the tour for wed as he said the weather forecast for that day was great. So wed morning the sun was shinning and we got some great photos thanks to Kennedy. We took our own photos on our cameras but none of them compare to the ones Kennedy took and all 3 of us are in the photos no one missing! So as you can see from our review we really enjoyed it and would certainly recommend Photo trek tours and if you get Kennedy you will have a great time. Thank you

this event was the highlight of our New York portion.Marc was professional and very friendly.He had our best interests in mind the whole way along.We had a blast from start to finsih and time did just fly right along.I would only say in closing that yoU should GO FOR IT!!!

When we knew we were going to NYC for four days, we decided that the best way to capture some wonderful memories was to have a professional photographer take some pictures of us as we walked around and explored the city sights. A little research on TripAdvisor led us to an amazing NYC photographer and guide all rolled into one company - PhotoTrek Tours. A simple prepayment of the tour and printing of the receipt was all that was needed to reserve our time for this amazing NYC adventure. On Thursday the 21st of June, and as per the reservation email instructions, we met up with Marc Samuels at the designated meeting time and place (New Victory Theater on West 42nd Street) for the beginning of our tour. As we had already been in NYC for two plus days at this point of our trip, Marc was concerned about taking us to some areas that we had already been to. We simply told Marc the areas and sights we had already seen and he quickly determined which other areas we should likely see during our three hour tour. The tour started a little earlier than planned as we had arrived at the meeting place about 15 minutes early. Marc put on his tour guide/photographer game face and the tour started off with us being photographed around Times Square. I can't remember all of the tour details about the areas and places we visited, however, we did explore these specific areas as a minimum; Times Square, rode and learned about using the NYC subway system, Central Park, Madison Avenue area, Greenwich Village, SOHO, walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights, and much, much more in between the areas I distinctly remember. The entire tour was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed Marc's company and knowledge as we learned so much in such little time. Even though the tour officially ended on the Brooklyn Heights side of the Brooklyn Bridge, Marc ensured that we got on the right subway to arrive back in Manhattan as planned. Marc also confirmed that he had our correct hotel address information in his notes so that the next day as promised, our digital pictures would be waiting for us at our hotel lobby desk. In summary, if you are looking for a professional company that will guide and photograph you as you explore the best that NYC has to offer, then look no further than PhotoTrek Tours. You will not be disappointed with this tour as Marc is an exceptionally professional guide and photographer. Marc is a definite New Yorker! He not only did a great job with the photography but he gave tips and insite on how to get around the city and subway system. Marc gave a lot of information on the city and buildings and history of them. Well worth the money!

First, I would like to say that Marc was an incredible tour guide and fantastic photographer! We are SO pleased with our CD packed full of photos of memories of our trip to New York. We met Marc for our tour on the scheduled morning, even though it was raining. He kindly asked if we would like to reschedule in order to receive the best results for our tour. We agreed, but before he left us that morning, he sat down with us and gave us all kinds of ideas and guidance what to do that day. He then met us at an alternative site the next day to accommodate a tour we had already scheduled for that morning. He was so knowledgeable about the history and details of the City. Because we had already seen some of the areas that he would normally cover, the day prior, he customized our tour to show us areas that we had not seen. After the tour was over, he even accompanied us all the way to our subway stop to our hotel. The next morning, our CD of over 200 images was waiting at our hotel desk. I couldn't wait to get home to see the pictures. I am SO THRILLED with the images. High quality photos with both close ups of my husband and I and shots that were pulled back so to include the New York sites we saw. This is SUCH A GREAT VALUE for both a personal tour and professional photographs. I will (and already have) definitely recommended Photo Trek Tours to my friends and family!

In addition to some amazing photos that Marc took, we also got a great tour of the city along with some back ground along our tour. Marc also gave us some great time saving tips on other attractions we were going to see that day. Highly recommend this tour. You will walk away with great photos and great memories.

This tour was definitely worth the money. Marc was very informative with all the areas. We knew what places we wanted to spend more time and investigate on our own. We are recommending Marc and this tour to our friends who are visiting New York. Everyone should do it. Great pictures too!
