Best of New York - Personal Photo Tour

This was definately the best choice we made for our vacation. Not only did we see New York with a true New Yorker, but we learned information to help us with the rest of our trip. We rode the subway, learned hints on navigating New York, spots to go and interesting history. And the bonus - fantastic pictures of our mother/daugter trip. If anyone is not sure about this tour - please reconsider. It will be the most valuable tour you take. We customized our trip a bit and Marc for so easy going and helpful. It was a great way to incorporated our wishes for New York with the best of New York. Thanks Marc Your Canadian Friends

This was such a great service. We have incredible family photos and saw NY from a New Yorkers point of view. Marc is awesome and I would highly recomend to any other travelers.

What an awesome way to see a lot of New York in a short amount of time, and to have your own personal, professional photographer (who was a great tour guide, with lots of little tidbits of helpful, interesting NYC information) take pictures of you while guiding you through Times Square, Central Park, Grand Central Station, the Brooklyn Bridge and SoHo/The Village, well, we can't say enough awesome things about Marc and his tours. It really was the high point of our week in NYC and the photos captured our trip perfectly. We will definitely use the pics for our annual Holiday cards! Hopefully, it will result in referrals for Marc!

From being picked up at the hotel to saying cheerio 2 hours later. This whole experience was jam packed with information, great site seeing - we covered times square, a small part of Central Park, the tube stations, soho, greenwich village and walked acress Brooklyn Bridge all while getting lots of memorable photos taken - fantastic! Marc Samuels was a really nice guy and very easy to get along with. We also got lots of tips on where to eat, what to try and go and see for ourselves etc. Well worth the money and would recommend this as a must for anyone who is visiting New York for the first time. Make sure you book it on your first or second day there so that you get all the information you can for the rest of your stay.

Great overview of NYC and how to get around using the subway! Also great to have pictures of the whole family while sight-seeing. Would highly recommend for any family visiting NYC for the first time!

Our tour with Mark was the highlight of our 2 week trip. He showed us how to use the subway system so we felt comfortable going out again on our own the next day. The pictures he took are fantastic! He took group and individual shots and included all of our requests. We never would have seen as much as we did if we hadn't been with Mark. It was wonderful to have a personal photographer so that all 5 of us could be in pictures together. He is a wonderful photographer and excellent tour guide! We recommend this 100% to everyone!

We had the best tour possible with Marc and the photos were fantastic. Make sure you wear your most comfortable shoes, Marc will give you a run for your money, maybe a brisk walk is more accurate. We loved everything we saw and are enjoying all the pics he took. We received an email with the link to the pics the very next day and the cd was received in the mail in two days! Amazing. But don't wear shoes that aren't for fast walking, as I stupidly did. Blisters were my own fault so make sure you wear good, worn in walking shoes. Don't try to break in a pair of shoes either on this tour or you'll regret it. This is just a word of advise from someone who should have known better. We loved Marc's tour: riding the subway, Central Park, Grand Central Station and even seeing an episode of Gossip Girls being filmed in SoHo made the day for our two teenage daughters. Marc had lots of information about the different areas and we look forward to doing a future tour with him.

Our Phototrek tour with Marc was fantastic! During our two hour tour we saw many more sights that I anticipated. Our tour began at our hotel and included (but was not limited to) the following areas: St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the NYC Subway System, Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Thanks to Marc's detailed Subway instructions (and demonstrations), the NYC subway system was no longer so intimidating! Marc was great with our two children. Several of the 70 or so pictures were of our children and were very good. My wife and I anticipate several of his photos being displayed promenately in our house! wFollowing our tour,we received our CD at the hotel the very next day. Should we return to New York, I certainly would want to do the PhotoTrek again.

Our phototrek tour with Mark was a fabulous way to begin our stay in NYC. Mark was an excellent tour guide who knows NYC like the back of his hand. He also is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of NYC. He had lots of stories and suggestions for us which we enjoyed. We covered a lot of ground, both on foot and via subway, during our three our tour with him and by the end really felt like we had our bearings for Manhattan and how to use the subway. This experience set us up well for the days ahead that we were spending in NYC. Mark is also an excellent photographer and the disc of photos we received following our time with him are a great souvenir of our trip. He did a wonderful job of photographing our family and friends by all of the famous Manhattan landmarks and we had a lot of fun. Mark had come highly recommended to us so when planning our trip and weighing all of the options of how to spend our money in NYC we decided to have a phototrek tour with Mark - it was great and worth every penny.

Marc was an excellent tourguide and photographer who helped us to capture life long memories in photos! We saw NYC as a local would, walking and taking the subway from one location to the next and we saw and learned things that cannot come out of a tour book. Its the first vacation (ever) that we have family photos from which included all 4 of us, and Marc's photo quality and the way that he made sure that the landmarks were part of each photograph, can not be rivalled by the types of amateur photos we would have taken. We had children with us and yet we always felt that our safety was Marc's priority and he kept his eye on all of us at all times. This was an excellent experience for all and we have already recommended it to all of our friends and family!
